Re: ~~~June Mommas PGAL Check-in~~~
Been feeling pretty good thanks. Had an appt on Wednesday and they said they'd like to schedule a sono for next time to be sure my placenta has migrated. I'm excited to see the babe again and to find out if it's in the right position for delivery.
I have enjoyed organizing all of the baby's things (clothes, books, diapers, etc). The nursery is wayyyy more put together than my own room.
Can't believe it's May- I'm so excited for all of us to soon meet our rainbows
Been feeling okay, my doc had me stop my contraction meds last week so I've been feeling a lot better. I've been contracting more the past few days but it's not labor yet so just an annoyance.
My favorite thing has just been getting his nursery ready and lately, organizing all the little clothes, blankets, things for baby in his room. I can't believe in 4 short weeks I'll be holding my little rainbow.
;;)
I have been feeling pretty good. Lots of pain around my hip area at night but dealing with it. Just wish I could sleep a little bit better but I guess I will be ready for when LO comes home. No big update here. Just getting a little worried on how my daughter will do for being away from me while I am having the baby. The other thing is that the baby room is still not ready and we still do not have the crib ( we are getting one given to us) we just need to pick it up but the lady has not given us a time or date yet.
My favorite thing to do while I prepare for the baby is feeling the kicks, enjoying talking about it with my friend who is due at the end of Aug. Also just picking up things we will need for the baby and buying little boy clothes.
I'm doing pretty well. I've been really worried about Viv being breech, and counting down to my appt on Tuesday when we will double check. Last week I felt hiccups up high about my belly button, which added to my fears. But I've been doing the Spinning Babies exercise, and last night while watching tv with my H, we felt more hiccups way down low! I'm so hopeful that it means that she's turned herself.
I feel like we're finally getting to the point where we realize that she's coming soon, so we're just starting to work on preparing for her. With our move to a new apartment, and our daughter going through all sorts of big changes (potty training, moved to a big girl bed, etc.), I feel like Viviana's stuff has been pushed down on the priority list. But this week we bought her coming home outfit and another outfit, and next weekend (for mother's day) we're going to spend the day together in a fun part of the city, shopping for decorations for the nursery. Yay! It's still full of boxes from our move, but at this point a lot of the stuff left is stuff that just needs to be either given away or stored in our big storage closet - so we just need to go through and separate it all out and pack it away. I'm excited to get working on the nursery and everything!

Oh, I've been MIA from the Bump lately! Mostly because I've been working like crazy to earn money for maternity leave, but also because I had the stomach flu for 3 days over Easter, then my son has been battling it ever since. Terrible! My husband was like, "Since this pregnancy has been so terrible, does this mean it's our last kid?" Ha.

Been doing good overall. Starting to get uncomfortable at night and a sore back at the end of the day, but everything else is good. Starting to think about delivery, but trying not to dwell on it. My first took a really long time and I had to be induced. So, I still don't know what it would feel like to go into labor or have my water break. Really hoping it doesn't break at work!

Getting the room together has been so much fun and watching how my DS has grown before my eyes after finding out he is going to be a big brother. Also pinterest has been amazing! Didn't have it with my first.
Lots happened this last week. We had our growth u/s and the measured my fluid. Our little man is huge. He's in the 95th percentile in weight, weighing approximately 6lb10oz. I was 34 weeks but measured 36.
I'm now considered high risk because they have diagnosed me with polyhydramnios and edema. Doctor is also concerned that I am developing pre e because of very slight amounts of protein in my urine and the swelling. Because of his size and the fact that I've gained all my weight in the last few weeks, they also are concerned I have developed GD. So I had a bunch of blood drawn and I have to do a 24 hr urine collection to determine what's going on.
Starting this week I'll be going in for weekly NSTs as well as u/s. Doctor thinks I'll go into labor early because of the amount Of fluid Im carrying. I am no longer able to travel, not even a couple hours.

My favorite thing so far has been getting the nursery ready. Hopefully next weekend we'll be done. I'm also eager to organize his clothes and just be ready for his arrival.
QOTW- What has been your favorite thing to do to prepare for baby? Any activity, shopping, etc. I've enjoyed shopping (I have a problem with it I think) and getting his room together. He'll be sharing a room with my middle son when he moves out of our room so it was fun to look for things to balance a baby type of room and a toddler type of room. This week, I'm going to start to wash his clothes, decide on a coming home outfit and start to pack my bag.

Exciting news: I've now lasted longer without going on BR with this pregnancy than I did with DS so I'm all excited.
Not so exciting news: I started spotting a little yesterday - but it was all "old blood" so my OB said just to monitor unless it became bright red - never did though.
Appointment Updates: we go in on Thursday - well see what the OB says about the little mans size he's huge .
Favorite Preping for Baby: hmmm I still haven't done much - probably should get moving. We have the nursery painted so that's a step in the right dorection
Glad to hear everyone is doing good.
I on the other hand...had a melt down at my appoinment yesterday. I started going every week for a BIOphysical profile ultrasound and for the NST's. During the U/S LO did not practice his breathing in the allowed 30min. cue freak out. Then I was hooked up to the NST monitor and according to the DR it was a perfect NST. But the high risk DR wants me to repeat the tests in 48 hours. UGH...PgAL is on overdrive
I am trying to stay positive because he is still moving a lot and he got the hiccups last night and this morning...but still UGH
My next appointment is wednesday in the afternoon so FX he has a better U/S.
QOTW:
My favorite thing to do is organize LO's room. I pretty much have everything ready to go for his arrival...so sometimes I will just sit on my rocker...day dreaming of what it might be like when he is home.
