Period while on the pill question

Hi all,

I left a message for my NP about this but didn't hear back, so I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this situation.

I went back on the pill this month but ended up getting my period during week 3. I've had it for seven days already, so it's not just break-through spotting. Now I'm a couple days away from the week 4 inactive pills and I'm wondering if I should take them as usual, or just skip them and start the new pack since I already got my period.

Has anybody had this come up before?

I'd take all of the placebos so your body can start to regulate. If you skip them then you'll end up confusing your body and this may happen again in a few weeks.
