Interview Attire?

Hi All-

Things have been up in the air with my current place of work, so I have been putting my feelers out there just in case. 

I just got a call from one of the places that I applied to for an interview next Thursday! Here's my question: The position is for a career services coordinator with a community college. The first interview is in a group setting- I have never done a group interview before. Should I go with the regular interview attire- ie. Skirt and jacket. Or would a nice blouse, pencil skirt and heels suffice? Any ideas? TIA!!

I worked at my university's career service center in college. While it was a casual place to work - jeans were acceptable most days - they emphasized dressing very well for interviews.  With that in mind, I'd wear a skirt or pants and a jacket for the first interview. GL!

In a professional setting, I almost always go suit.  And I'd rather be overdressed for an interview.  So I vote suit.

Another vote for suit. Even though you won't need to wear one everyday, you'll occasionally wear one for career fairs & the like, so you can show them you're ready at the interview.

I would go suit, Especially since it's career services.

Take off the jacket when you arrive if you feel embarassingly overdressed.

Try the Nordstrom's personal shopper service. Free and such a time saver. I looked good for my last interview, much better than if I had done it on my own and it was much less stressful.

Definitely suit or jacket outfit. And i love Nordstrom's, I always chime in on that suggestion, I haven't used it for interviewing yet but have gotten a ton of great stuff from them for work & casual...
