Couch- best type to buy when you have a toddler and a cat?

Our couch is on its last legs. The stain resistance is long gone even milk and water leave stains. It's a 7 year old microfiber. I don't want to spend a ton of $$ because realistically a toddler and a cat will do damage. I like a sectional because of the room shape so slipcovers are not possible. Is faux leather a good idea? A different fabric? Any advice on what and where to buy is appreciated!

  • I don't know what to tell you other than Ikea ;-) We got a couch from there about a year ago, thinking that if it didn't last long due to cats or a new baby, at least it wouldn't be super expensive to replace. So far so good! We got the Tidafors
