reaction to nursing pad?

 Has anyone experienced a skin reaction to nursing pads? I don't usually wear them, but earlier this week I did, and I now have little red bumps around the outside of my areola...looks like it would be right where the pad was touching my skin. It's only only on the side I tend to leak from. I remember this happening a few months ago too. I called my OB office and the nurse said not to worry as long as it wasnt painful or itchy. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar....
