Hi ladies!  I'm feeling good and sliding through the first tri.  No nausea after the 2WW, just fatigue all the time.  I went back to the gym yesterday for the first time since before IVF and 30 minutes on the bike and I was so sore when I woke up this AM!

Just starting to look into my work mat leave and insurance benefits.  My dr and DH both really want me to do the nuchal translucency and level II ultrasound, so I'm going with the flow and signed up for that this week.

Hopefully all will be quiet and good until my next OB appointment on 5/30.  Hope you all are doing well!

It is so crazy that we are moving to 2nd trimester!

Started telling my family this week and am leaving this afternoon to go tell my grandparents. they have been exceptionally supportive and am excited to tell them!

I also have to start telling my students and colleagues so that my Chair can start working on staffing for Spring 2015. Really nervous about that!

Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder, I would realllllly appreciate a volunteer to take over the first tri check in!

AFM, I'm 13 weeks today! Morning sickness is still kicking my butt, but the baby is growing right on track and I was released yesterday from the RE! I also found out yesterday that I currently have complete placenta previa, so I'm on pelvic rest until my first OB appointment in two weeks. In the meantime, I'm totally trying not to freak out about it, but it's so hard. I thought at the end of 1st tri I would finally be able to breathe a little bit, but I guess that won't be happening anytime soon.

QOTW - I should have thought of an answer before I thought of the question lol. I think I would want to be stranded with Lady Antebellum (they count as one person!! haha). They will keep me entertained with their awesome voices and they always seem so down to earth, I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about!

I can't believe that it is 13w5d already. I've reached that fat/bloat/superbloat at the end of the day stage. We had a bit of a heatwave this week and my warm weather clothes were too snug or revealing (haven't told at work). On Tues, I tried and tossed 3 outfits. OMG. So not me!

We had our NT scan and blood work two weeks ago and still digesting the nothing bad to see here report. Next MD appt is next Friday. We finally told my ILs the news this week.

I will be 10 weeks tomorrow!  AH!  It is going by so fast.  I graduated from my RE this week.  I am waiting to hear from the OB and MFM to schedule my next appointments. 

QOTW:  Rob Lowe.  I am in the middle of reading his new book and I think he has so many fun stories.  And he is not bad to look at.

Hi all, 9w2d today. I have another u/s on Monday and hopefully will get released by the RE at some point next week. I made an OB appt for next Friday... I've been fortunate that I have no real m/s but still have a general "don't feel great" thing going on. I think I may be getting a cold as my throat feels a bit sore.... I've still be avoiding people as we don't want to tell people for another month or so.... No clue about a celebrity. They'd prob expect me to wait on them and kill food for them and that's not going to happen!

I had my first OB appointment on Wednesday and she actually did my ultrasound (on the belly!).  I thought I wasn't going to have to drop my pants for once, but I was due for a pap.  Maybe next time.  My nausea and food aversions seem to be getting worse so that's been fun.  Now I have to wait 4 weeks for the next ultrasound, which will be my longest wait yet. 

QOTW:  Emma Stone, because I think she is hilarious (did you see her lip sync skit with Jimmy Fallon?).  If I had to choose a male, probably Justin Timberlake.  He's good to look at, funny and could sing me to sleep .

@tippytoes06 thank you for doing a wonderful job her on the first tri check-in as our leader!!! Hopefully, your m/s will start to fade as you enter the second tri.

@InitutiveBlue: my Ob did want to run the Maternti21 test even with twins. I think b/c I'm over 35. But as you'll see from my results (below) we know info on one not the other. I'm OK with that, but now anxiously waiting the next test that can look at both of them to ensure that they are both healthy.

AFM: 12w2d. We did get our Maternti21 test results back - everything is normal for one of them. The nurse didn't realize we were expecting twins, she kept referring to the baby.  M/s still hanging around. . .although having a few more good days in between.

QOTW: George Clooney, we could talk some good politics and he'd be perfect eye candy

Congratulations to all those graduating into the 2nd tri! I hope to see you in a couple weeks. 

AFM: I am 10 weeks today. Not a lot going on here. We had another good US early this week. The babies didn't seem to be moving, so I asked sonographer if we could see them move yet. She poked and shook my belly a little bit and, what do you know, they woke up. DH even got a video of it (which I've watched like 849 times). We go back in for our next US on Monday (love that OB office is all about the USs). 

The nausea and extreme fatigue seems to be going away, which is such a relief. Thought I had a baby bump started, but turns out it's just mostly bloat. I'm thankful the weather is warming up because I am living in maxi dresses and skirts. Tight = ick. 

QOTW: I don't really have an answer to this. I don't really follow celebrities and I have a feeling they'd mostly annoy me.

Hi everyone!  I can't believe this is my last 1st tri check-in.  My next bi-weekly appointment is next Friday and then I get switched to the monthly appointment schedule.  I sort of feel like this is all too good to be true and can't help but worry that inevitably something will go wrong soon.  Hopefully not though!  Good luck to all of you, hope to see you on the 2nd tri check-in soon!

QOTW- Maybe Jimmy Fallon?  He seems genuinely nice and he's funny so he could keep me entertained!

my EDD is November 23rd but Ill be induced if haven't had baby already by 11/19 due to GD. No news with me, totally don't even feel pregnant. Kinds weird! Tired but that's about it! Finished my estradiol/aspirin/PIO as of Wednesday, halleluiah!!!!!!

QOTD: I'm not really into celebrities and all that jazz but I would have to say anyone BUT Alicia Silverstone. Throat punch to her.

Hi  :-h I was waiting for my ultrasound to get a due date before wanting to be added.

Official EDD is 12/14/14 and we have 2 beans!! Today I feel good. It is the best I have felt in a week of so. Generally I feel like crap with nausea thrown on top of that. Next RE appointment is on Tuesday, and we should be graduating to the OB!!

QOTW: Kevin James came to mind first (I was watching King of Queens earlier). Seems like he would keep things interesting. My second choice was Tim McGraw.

Hi ladies!  I'm 10w tomorrow!  I was feeling better earlier this week and thought maybe I was in the clear but the nausea came back in full force the past 2 days, unfortunately.  Oh well, not much longer in the first tri. 

We had our first OB appointment this week and got a good look at the rockstar LO measuring 2 days ahead and with a hb of 175.  We got to actually hear the heartbeat this time, which never fails to be amazing

I'm 7w4d today.  I Had my first US yesterday and was measuring on track with a great HB of 166!  As long as nothing comes up between now and the 14th, I am released.  I have another US and appointment with my OB then.  I'm glad I'll get to see the little shrimp again relatively soon.  I had been feeling great aside from fatigue... until yesterday, then nausea hit me and lasted most of the day.  It's been off and on today.  No complaints though!
QOTD: I'm not a big celebrity follower, so I have no idea who I wouldn't mind being stuck with.... Maybe Bear Grylls since he'd be pretty useful to have around.

Hey All!  

Congrats to everyone moving on!  Thats so exciting!  I'm 9w2d today.  MS is still kicking my butt mostly in the evening but nausea all day.  Food aversion is also now starting.  I have my First trimester screening on May 21.  It has been SOOOOOOO long since our last ultrasound and I still have a way to go!  People are starting to notice there being a little extra around my stomach.    Hopefully this MS goes away soon.

I am 10 weeks, 3 days and just had an appointment with one of the midwives at my practice.  She said my uterus feels about 12-14 weeks along so that sounded good to me.  Very few m/s symptoms and still haven't gained any weight, but I suppose that can be normal even with twins!  Really looking forward to my ultrasound on the 15th!

QOTW:  This is tough.  But I think I have to go with Kristen Bell.  Firstly because she has skills from watching so much Naked and Afraid and also because she cracks me up.

I'm 11w6d today and so glad to be nearing the end of the first trimester. I feel just fat not pregnant. I did feel movement twice in the last 3 days which is so weird and super super early but it's my second pregnancy and twins which is probably why.
No medical updates except I went to meet a new doctor who I hate except for the fact that he found a heartbeat on the doppler. So I will be 12 weeks with twins with no doctor. I think I have a lead though which I will try to follow up on next week but I don't know how with the schedule I have next week. It's going to suck.
QOTW. I agree with @absolutelymaybe‌ and think they would all annoy me.

This week I have been feeling a bit more optimistic. I had my first appointment with my midwife and she really helped me look at all the positives. I still feel great and am looking forward to the end of PIO.. last injection is tonight!! 

I'll be going on a babymoon/anniversary trip to jamaica next week so that's really helped to keep me busy. 

I'd love to get stranded with Joaquin Phoenix. Just cause he seems cool and I'd really like to Blue Lagoon him (if I were single of course).

Hi ladies! I had a crazy week.. Waiting for Mat21 results which all came back normal and revealed team pink. Then it was a great week, which also included an interview for my dream job which I think I killed! So doing pretty good here. My first OB appointment is next week and I hope I like her, but getting excited about seeing my little girl again.

I can't believe my name is so close to the top of the list! Where is the time going???

Hi ladies! This is my first 1st tri check in. I've been afraid to do one, but I'm sure it won't really jinx things!

My EDD is December 24. So, that makes me 6 weeks 3 days today. Most days my symptoms are very mild and I freak out. When I get a strong wave of nausea, I get excited. I'm not normal. My first ultrasound in on Monday and I'm scared to death. Our last u/s with our last pregnancy just started a long month of horrible u/s's that didn't end well. I'm just trying to take it one day at a time, but as Monday gets closer, I get more nervous that this is all not really happening or something is wrong, even though my boobs are on FIRE as I type this. Probably a good thing?

QOTD: Adam Sandler. He's hysterical!!

nothing really new here. I am a little over 10 weeks but don't have my next appt until 12 weeks which is KILLING me. I want to see the little bean and know he is still going strong.

I agree with someone else about not loving my ob/gyn. It's not like I dislike her, but I LOVED the one I had before, but I switched insurance companies and she wasn't in the network so I am stuck for now because I can't switch. 

QOTW: I have a ton of celebrity crushes, so it would be hard to choose. I guess my current choice would be Ashton Kutcher. funny, nice eye candy, and is from Iowa, so he probably knows a little about building fires and outdoorsy things! LOL

Hi ladies! Sorry for the late check in. I'm 11 weeks today. NT scan is next week. I'm so anxious to see our babies again. Our last U/S was at 8 weeks which feels like forever ago! Morning sickness is still off and on, but it seems to be mostly in the morning now vs. all day - big improvement!

Hi ladies this is my first 1st trimester check in. I'll be 8 weeks tmr, EDD 12/15. I was released by RE after my 7w3d US. Next appt will be with an OB on 9w2d. I'm a FTM.

I feel okay overall, nausea here and there and some days worse than others. Thankfully I'm able to keep food down but have early satiety.

QOTW: I pick Conan Obrien. DH and I love his show and I will be well entertained.

Hello! I'm feeling pretty good (despite the atrocious nausea) because we saw a heartbeat on Wednesday and graduated. My first OB appt is next Tuesday, but the already warned me I won't have an ultrasound that week. Boo!
