Siggy warning- free clearblue fertility monitor + 35 test strips

Hi ladies- firstly, hugs to all of you.

I have a clearblue fertility monitor and 35 test strips that I bought (not expired yet), but didn't get the chance to use because soon after purchase we found out about my DH's MFI issues.  If anyone would like it, I'm happy to pick up the shipping costs and send to you.  PM me :-)

IVF #1 Oct 2013- cancelled
IVF #2 Mar 2014- success.... baby girl born 11/28/14
FET #1 Mar 2016- baby boy due 12/16/16

  • Hi,

What's the difference between the clear blue sticks that you pee on compared to the monitor?
    I am interested.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    Thanks!
The monitor is designed to tell you your most fertile days. It will indicate 1 bar for low fertile days, 2 bars for more fertile days, when you are gearing up to ovulate, and 3 bars for ovulation. I guess it's supposed to give you a greater window of opportunity.

My sister bought me one since she found it for cheaper at this store where she shops, and I used it twice. I have PCOS and I didn't think it would work at all but it actually did work the first time- I was shocked. I had a CP that month. The next time I used it, it said I ovulated about 2 or 3 weeks before I actually did. So from my observations, it works for PCOSers about 50% of the time. Just thought I'd throw that info out there!

Me and DH: 32, TTC since 2/2012
Dx: lean PCOS, low hormone levels, 2 CP's before seeing RE, MTHFR heterozygous
IUI #1 with clomid and ovidrel: BFN
IUI #2 with clomid (unresponsive), femara, ovidrel and novarel: Possible CP
IUI #3 with femara, ovidrel and novarel: BFN
IUI #4 with Follistim (115 iu) and ovidrel= BFN, developed OHSS, benched- 2 weeks of birth control pills
IUI #5 with Follistim (75iu) and ovidrel= BFN........Taking a medication break for a few months
IUI #6 with Follistim (75iu) every other day, femara and Lupron trigger= BFN
*Taking a long break to get healthy and research/prepare for IVF*
Goal: gain 5 lbs, gluten/dairy/soy/nut free
