Week/fruit/EDD: 6 weeks/ sweet pea/ 12/26/14 based on IUI date
Team: Green
Updates: Had my second ultrasound on Wednesday. Still thankfully just one little bean in there, and we saw a flicker of a HB which was awesome. So, so sweet, and it made things seem a bit more real. Because of my blump I cannot zip my favorite pair of jeans anymore; it was disheartening that happened so soon.
How are you feeling? M/S started for me a few days ago. It has been a rollercoaster - this morning I almost lost it while brushing my teeth. Yesterday midmorning the nausea got so bad I had to lay on the floor of my office with the door closed for a while. Just trying to keep it together Eating bland and carb-heavy is helping.
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit? This is my first so no past experience... but the word episiotomy just terrifies me.
Updates: GBS test yesterday and first dilation check! Can't believe I've made it to weekly appointments already!
How are you feeling? Very, very pregnant. And slow. And hungry. A local cupcake shop had a Mountain Dew and Doritos cupcake as their special yesterday...it sadly looked like the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Baby C has officially taken over my appetite...
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit? Wasn't a fan of the Pitocin with DS, and had a much faster delivery with DD without it. Could've been that things were just easier because it wasn't my first rodeo - but the contractions certainly did not seem as intense.
Updates: Nothing really to report. I am feeling bigger.
How are you feeling? I feel pretty good, except that I have had some icky mood swings this week. Hormones, blargh!
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit? I am trying not to pay too close attention to detailed labor stories. I figure billions of women over countless generations have been through childbirth and it's something I will get through as I am meant to. Worrying about it ahead of time won't help me.
Updates: Had a great US on Monday. Sprout was moving his/her arms & legs. HB was at 174. Everything measuring on schedule. I go to my first regular OB appt on Tuesday.
How are you feeling? Good for the most part... still very tired, peeing all of the time & my nausea has kicked up a bit.
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit? I hope I don't poop on the table!
BFP #2 3/19/14 EDD: 11/28/14 Femara + Gonal F + Ovidrel 3/6/14 IUI #3 (plus 2x acupuncture) Team Pink!!
BFP #1 7/22/13 EDD 3/29/14 MMC 8/13/13 ALL ARE WELCOME
Updates: Growth u/s on Wednesday showed little guy at about 2 1/2 pounds still with mild fluid in his kidneys...go back in 4 weeks for another scan. Didn't hear anything after my GTT last week so hoping that means good news.
How are you feeling? Pretty good, heartburn is picking up. DS has a cold so I'm popping vitamin C hoping I don't catch it.
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit? I didn't realize hemorrhoids could be the size of a small planet. And I knew your nether regions wouldn't look pretty afterward but I wasn't aware just how swollen everything would be.
Also, I totally pooped on the table. Didn't care then, still don't care now. lol
Updates: I had an u/s yesterday. It did not go well. I'm measuring a week behind by my LMP date and over a week behind by my O date. And there was no heartbeat. I'm sure of my dates, I got a BFP at 9DPO, so there isn't too much wiggle room. I know it is early, but this with non-doubling betas and no symptoms it's not good.
I go back for an u/s on Wed May 7 with the hope of a miracle. Most likely this will be my last weekly check-in.
The kicker is that May 7 was my EDD for my son. The universe hates me.
Feeling: disappointed/sad/lost
If I'm not back next week good luck ladies!!

Updates: Nothing very eventful, thankfully. I've been thinking a lot about this time last year. 10 days ago was the anniversary of my first d&c last year. What a crazy year it's been. A whirlwind of pregnancies and losses. :-/
How are you feeling?Achy and large. Sometimes I get hit with disbelief that I've made it this far. Not in any rush to have this baby though - lots and lots to do before then!!
QOTW: Is there anything you've heard about or learned from past labor and delivery experience that freaked you out a little bit?My labor & delivery with my son was pretty uneventful (hard, but doable - it was a water birth and I didn't have an epidural) - but any horror stories that involve stillbirth obviously freaks me out quite a bit. As well, I'm thinking about getting an epidural this time and hearing from people where it didn't work/half worked/left pain at the site freaks me out! I can't imagine being constrained to a hospital bed without having the pain meds work!
