It's Friday!

Oh my god! I feel like this week was just dragging! Because I'm sick and the only day I was able to make an appointment with my doctor was for today.  I'm so excited to go, lol. How weird is that to say?  But my sinus' are killing me and my coughing is getting worse and just now, I almost threw up from all the phlegm making it's way from my nose to my lungs or wherever it's decided to take it's vacation.

I have no real reason to roll my eyes, I just wanted to use my doctor who .gif.

    I slept like shit last night. Im tired, my allergies are acting up, ds wont stop moving, has already figured out how to climb up steps, and the weather has been shit for taking bentley outside.

    Thankfully its sort of nice today so bentley and i are going for a nice long walk.

    Yay for Friday!  Except the allergy pills I've been taking make me sooo tired and it's been a really busy week.  What happened to Wednesday and Thursday?  Well, whatever.  Hope everyone is feeling better quickly!

    Finalized adoption on our newest family member yesterday and made the 3 hour trip to go get him.  Thankfully, BD went with me to help manage DD.  First picture is the day Bentley's savior found him in a high kill shelter sick and emaciated.  Second is him just a couple short weeks later.  He's very well mannered and quite the character.  Already love him to pieces.  : )

    Oh my god! Look at the difference!! He's so lucky to have been rescued! I don't understand why there are kill shelters out there! We rescued a chihuahua daschound mix from someone who was on their way to put him down because they "didn't want him anymore."! WTF kind of reason is that to kill a pet?!

    Such a sweet boy! I just want to hug him glad you guys finally found the right fit for your little family.

    I did i double take when i read your bd went with you to get him. Glad he spent some time with dd though

    Wait a minute, wait a minute. You guys have an animal shelter that kills animals for no apparent reason? How the fuck is that an animal shelter?

    Thanks!  Yeah, that first pic kills me.  I don't understand how people can be so heartless.

    BD is out of the slammer and definitely wants to spend as much time with DD (and me) as he can.  He says he's turning over a new leaf.  Please excuse my skepticism.  I've given him a limit as to how much time he can spend with us a week and let him pick which days he wants.  The first time he screws up he's gone.  He's going back to work Monday so that will help keep him out of trouble.  In the past it's just caused different trouble because he thinks he can work 50 hours a week and not do anything else.  Guess again, bonehead!

    @alliealba yes, there are shelters that kill animals that don't get adopted within a certain time frame. Some a few days but most about a week. It's sad really that people could do that to an animal that they "love". Drives me absolutely nuts.

    Guys i just had that wtf was i thinking moment about my hair. I have five different cow licks in my hair that keep my hair from laying down nice even with product and now my hair is 50 times more labor intensive them my long hair which i would just throw up on a messy bun.

    Allergies suck here too.
    Kids go with their dad so I have lots of plans for me. 1 of which is to go out with a girl friend into NYC for a fun dinner tomorrow night. I'm so excited!!
    I tell you, I have two cats that I'm praying stbxh gets in the divorce. I do NOT want them but of course will take care of them if I have to.
