Positive Thoughts * UPDATE in OP

At A's 9 month check up her pedi had said that A had a heart murmur. She made it clear that she wasn't very concerned and that is common for infants to have them and she is almost positive that the one she heard will go away. There was a long waiting list for the cardiologist we were referred to and after months of worrying and waiting her appointment is tomorrow. 

I am beyond nervous and scared. I know the pedi said she will be ok and she doesn't think it was anything serious and just wanted a second opinion just in case but that doesn't ease my mind until we know for sure. On top of it all I hate going to things like this alone and DH could not get out of work, even though he tried very hard , so that makes me even more nervous!

Please keep us in your thoughts and please pray that it has gone away and should no longer be a concern. TIA! 

*UPDATE :

So the appointment went well! Although he still heard the murmur he explained how it is an " innocent murmur" and should go away within a year and is completely normal ( which is what my pedi said). He said it wasn't the kind of murmur caused by a hole in the heart or something wrong with the valve and that sometimes there is a vibration type of sound. Her blood pressure , heart rate, the EKG all came back normal so he found no reason to do a sonogram, thank God! 

Although it didn't disappear I feel a lot better after getting the second opinion.
