This is such a great time in our lives to see our families expand with the addition of our LOs. Thanks for sharing your stories!
My story begins with a lot of baby brain moments (driving past my house not realizing I missed it, losing my keys when I never do, putting milk in the pantry etc). I realized that I didn't know when I last ovulated so after looking at all the weird behavior I decided to POAS one morning while DH slept. Well, I was so surprised to get a BFP that I ran to him shoving the stick in his face and said, "IS THIS FOR REAL?!?" He smiled and said "I guess so!"
The family reveal was nothing special. I think we told them at a Forth of July party.
This PG was different than my first in so many ways. Symptoms were different, seasons were different which methinks helped with some swelling issues, and I am the only one if my friends to have a second child. Thanks to TB and the F14 ladies, I felt like I didn't have to be alone in this journey.
1.) We got married on May 18th, 2013 and during the beginning of our engagement I was positive that I wanted to try to have a baby immediately. I later decided I wanted to get healthy before we started a family because I had some bad eating habits and didn't exercise. My DH and I started a couch to 5k program that our town was doing and on the 2nd day of it, I just felt off. I was 3 days late and that wasn't that abnormal for me but I just had this feeling I should buy pregnancy tests
I was also doing couch to 5k! I think I was on week 2 or 3? That was sure abandoned quickly!
I had just finished and ran my first race!
My plan was to do a color run a few weeks before we moved...but nausea and fatigue took over and it never happened! Someday!
