Hi!! I am researching different things on a list my friend made for me as to what to register for. I am wondering if anyone has ideas on video monitors as well as motion sensors- she said " Angelcare Motion Sensor"......anyone registering for these and which ones?? I am going this weekend! ahh!!! 22 weeks tomorrow!

I found Lucie's List online to be helpful when registering.  If you sign up, you get a chart of major baby items and reviews of some of the more common brands. 

I didn't get a video monitor or a motion sensor for DS, so I can't help you there. I find motion sensors to be unnecessary, but I know it gives lots of moms peace of mind.

I found the Baby Bargains book (you can get it HERE) to be helpful when deciding what to get.  It gives ratings to a lot of the top brands of products, give suggestions for what is helpful or a waste, etc.

We considered the AngelCare monitor, but like PP said, I've seen way too many people saying it's pretty much useless with the amount of false alarms that it gives.
