11 Wks Old & Constipated Every 1 1/2 - 2 Wks - HELP!!!

I need some help.  It seems as though our 11 week old gets constipated every 1 1/2 - 2 wks.  He has not pooped in 24 hrs now...what can I do?  He gets (2-3) breastmilk bottles per day and the rest formula.  HELP!!!

    These are the things I do...

    Switch a formula feed (or more) to breast milk to help flush it out since breastmilk goes through faster and easier.

    Do bycicle movements. Move you LO's legs in the same movement as if the were peddling.

    Massage around where the band of the diaper is, gently, from hip to hip.

    The pediatrician reccomended taking your LO's temp rectally and that should open things up down there. I can bring myself to do this but with the other 3 things it gets the poop out.

    You can ask your ped about giving some prune juice too.

    Most pedis are not concerned unless it has been a week or more or obvious discomfort.

    Akso sometimes a rectal thermometer can do the trick to get things moving.  Just use it like you are going to take their temp.
