I'm one of the few who unfortunately continues to experience migraines/headaches throughout the duration of my pregnancy. I've seen my OB, GP, and ophthalmologist; and have tried chair massages, prenatal massages, and even ordered a new pair of glasses. To no avail, nothing worked. However, just recently, I've been seeing an acupuncturist. She was recommended by a friend who had seen her for other pregnancy ailments. The acupuncturist is licensed and specializes in fertility and treatment of pregnant women. I've only been two her twice in the last week, but I already feel better. I haven't had an episode yet (I was getting them 2-3 times a week and haven't got one yet!*fingers-crossed*). As an added bonus, I'm sleeping deeper (does that make sense?), getting longer durations of uninterrupted sleep, and am "regular" again. I just thought I'd put it out there that for those who you continue to experience the migraine/headaches, I would definitely give acupuncture a try. I didn't know too much about acupuncture or even how it worked, but I'm a total believer now! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
