Quick washing soda soak question

edited May 2014 in Cloth Diapering
I just did a washing soda soak to hopefully help some crunchy diapers. Do I need to do multiple rinses after the soak? Thanks!

ETA These diapers were bought used and have already been bleached, but I think they have some hard water build up from the previous owner.

  • Yes, I would do a couple rinses or a full wash cycle. The soak will loosen mineral, but you still need to rinse them away.

Good point. I'll do a full wash cycle. Thanks!

FYI if I don't do 2-3 rinses after an RLR soak G gets a rash. He might just be extra sensitive, but thought I'd warn you in case your LO is too!

Thanks, @CLLDLL. I'll wash them like I normally do with an extra rinse. I was wondering why RLR needed extra rinses and if that was true for washing soda, too.
