What would look better

I'm making one of these. Would it look better if the "suspenders" stopped at the shoulder seam or were on the front AND back? I'm using an actual t shirt, not a onesie like the pic. So I wouldn't be sewing over the head hole thingy, just up and over the shoulders.

Either way is cute, but front and back is better.
