Is the @ function no longer allowed on TB?

Has TB taken away the ability to notify someone in a thread by using the @? I tried it in one of the threads and I know I spelled the name right and wouldn't do it.

WTF,it works for you, but not for me. Ok this is another thing to add to my list of stupid, but really annoying things that have happened to me today. LOL
