1/4 cup bleaching

If you only have 1 newborn diaper and 2 inserts do you still use 1/4 cup? I didn't do a 1/4 cup when I bleached 6 diapers last time because it was 6 diapers but the small amount I did use took forever to rinse out...but now I'm wondering if i didn't use enough to sanitize them...

1)Why are you bleaching? are they used?

2)If you re bleaching used diapers, throw in some towels. I've got nasty old towels used for spills painting whatever.

3)My washer will smell like bleach until I run soap again through it, but the diapers are fine. When it doubt dry the diapers, smell them. I always rinse like crazy since I'm paranoid.

The diapers are used

we don't use bleach otherwise on anything (I'm very sensitive to it)

Good to know...I'll do another bleach wash and see if i can toss a towel in it...
