Still Swaddled

Just curious how many LOs out there are still being swaddled and how old they are. My LO just turned 7 months and CANNOT nap without being swaddled. At night he's in MMSS. I'm wondering if I've trained him to nap in a swaddle and how to break him of it. Although I do know that some kids just need it longer than others.

Desmond is in a SwaddleMe with one arm out during naps and bedtime. He just loves it too much. He is 8 months.

We do a loose swaddle sometimes. It helps her feel like she's still being held when I lay her down but she can still get her hands free later in the night.

DD is not Swaddle however we do use a sleep sack most nights and that tends to make her sleep a little better

DS is in a sleep sack. We had to go cold turkey on MMSS because he was too hot. At the end of the month I'll have summer break, we will do something about sleeping then. Back to the crib time I'm thinking we might get a swaddle sleep sack then, we will see.

We had to go cold turkey. DD was sleeping in her bouncer, swaddled. She wouldn't sleep in her crib at ALL since she was used to the bouncer. We started sleep training and now she's in her crib (for the majority of the night) and in a sleep sack.

Thanks for sharing, everyone! I tried to put him down in a normal sleeper and it was a disaster. The little guy just can't stop moving if he's not swaddled. Then he starts screaming because he's so tired. I wish he would just sleep on his belly, because I think that would help, but the kid just can't stop rolling around!
