Again ladies, as always thank you so much for the support. I seriously don't know what I would do without you-

I was really lucky to get a last min appt with my RE this afternoon.
Basically, he sees no reason why it didnt work. We discussed my last transfer and he agreed we needed to do better this time.
He will personally be doing my next transfer. I am also having a stitch placed on my cervix about a week or so before transfer. They leave a string of the suture and it can be used to straighten out the path to the uterus. They will ensure my lining is thicker this time (was 7.5 last time because donor stimmed so quickly)

I am relieved we are making some changes. Our embryos are looking really good too. 1A hatching, 1A expanded and 1B expanded.

Transfer will either be 5/21 or 5/28.

I'm still completely numb from our last failure, but glad we have a plan that makes sense and should rule out the issues we had last time.

Glad to hear you will get the cervical stitch. That should help with the next ET. You have great frosties! Always rooting for you and sending T&Ps that this next one is the last one you need. Do you have a vacation coming up? Relaxation will do your soul good. Hang in there :-)

That's great that you were able to see your RE right away. What does the stitch entail? Is it surgery or just a small procedure they do?

So glad you have a solid plan in place and your embryos sound amazing! I'm wondering what the stitch entails, too. I've never heard of it before, so I just wonder how they do it I guess. There's a solution to everything it seems!

Hummmm I'm gonna ask my RE about this stich thing! Never heard of it and my last transfer was a nightmare!!!!!! Glad you have a transfer date set good luck!

@Mrs.McIrish - yes! We were planning on going to FL, but decided against it last weekend. We thought maybe having too much time lounging and drinking would get depressing. We decided to change to Washington, D.C.! Lol, my husband has never been. We plan on doing tons of walking around/sight seeing, going to a baseball game and hitting up some pubs! We are looking forward it it


@Grateful&amp;Thankful‌ & @LacyJ67 - I don't know too much about the stitch, but I was told they literally put a suture in the cervix and leave extra slack (that will remain in the vagina, but not hang outside of it) that my RE can tug on in attempts to straighten out the route to the uterus. He asked if I wanted to be out for it, but I decided on local spray and 2 Valium, given how quick it is. (Literally a stitch).

So glad the embryos look so good, very nervous if this doesn't work that there is most likely something very seriously wrong with me that we won't be able to fix.
