does anyone know if all boppy's are good to use for nursing as well or are some just infant positioners? I was looking at this one - I'm not sure if it's good for nursing or not
The boppy lounger can't really be used for nursing, it has a harness and it won't fit around you. The one you linked would be fine, but I suggest getting an extra cover for when that one needs to be washed.

i used the boppy only to plop baby in and occasionally for tummy time..i thought it was pretty terrible for nursing. I'm not a big girl and could barely fit it around my waist. When I did nurse, it would constantly cave in the middle and baby would fallin between my stomach and the pillow. It was frustrating and pretty useless for me. I had better luck with my brest friend.

Ya. I never used it for nursing either. I just used a regular pillow.
^^^ Same... I was lucky as friends loaned me their Boppy pillows and the Brestfriend. I tried using both initially (the Brestfriend pillow seemed better) but my LO didn't like being cradled while he ate. So, if I had spent the money to purchase either pillow, it would have been a waste. As a PP mentioned, the lounger can't be used for nursing (a friend gave me hers) and that was a total waste since my LO was on the bigger side when he was born.
We used the boppy for nursing and it worked fine. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I needed it or at least a pillow until LO was much bigger. But we also used it as a propper and I don't know what we would have done without it. LO had reflux, and this helped her. She was in it all the time. Even as late as 11 months or so we would give her a bottle in it because she could hold the bottle on her own but couldn't really tip it back very effectively when she was sitting. So, we would just grab the boppy, lean her back in it, and hand her a bottle and she was cool.
That would work for nursing but I prefer the Brest Friend for nursing. Since it attaches to you, it's more secure and it provides better support than the Boppy.
my breast friend was awesome for nursing. I didn't care for the bobby and it barely got used at all. I never used it to position DD - I just didn't think it was necessary.
another vote for my breast friend, it was way more user-friendly than boppy. However, boppy came out with a new model that has a soft side and a firm side, so that might be a good option (my breast friend is firmer foam)
