Has anyone taken their breastfeeding class? I was wondering if it was worth it, or if I can learn the same stuff from a book/online for free? I do plan on going to the free one at the Childbirth Collective, but I'm assuming they cover more in the Enlightened Mama one, since it is a bit longer?
Re: Enlightened Mama classes
Didn't attend their class, but had a home visit with one of their LCs the day after we came home from the hospital. She was very knowledgable and approachable. Very professional, hands on, reassuring.
Since the childbirth collective session is typically only an hour, I'd take the EM class if you can swing it. I had no idea how hard breastfeeding was going to be. I say do as much as you can ahead of time to arm yourself with tools and support!
Good luck.
