Hello ladies! I am back.
I have been so busy. Finals are coming up, school has been crazy, and then there is that shower I was roped into throwing (eye roll). But I am alive and well, minus the usual BFN's.
I think my last real post was about my NIAW / Facebook fiasco.
I have some good news though! I have ditched the OB for now. DH and I decided that we like her well enough to care for me once we get the BFP, but we know that she is not going to get us there. I guess that we have been in denial, and I am just glad that we came to this conclusion in time.
I had told myself that I was going to see the RE in July. Idk why I chose July, but it was our timeline. Well I just had enough Clomid. I had enough wondering what was going on. I was scared. So I decided that I was DONE with the Clomid. Well then I saw an advertisement for the RE we wanted to see. It was an Open House in honor of NIAW 2014. They claimed that if you pre-register for the Open House that the initial consult is free (this was a $300 value, because I almost went back in March!).
Needless to say I registered, and I am SO GLAD I DID!!! This RE is amazing. I think I might have a man-crush on him, and it's okay because DH seemed to be soaking up everything he said also. He gave a presentation about the options, a tour of the office, and then sat down 1-on-1 with us briefly after the presentation. I told him about the Clomid and he assured me that we wouldn't touch it again (THANK GOODNESS).
I just cannot wait for July. I wish I wouldn't have put it that far out, but I am excited.
Thanks for letting me AW.
ETA: Removed "Preg. Mentioned... Not mine warning"... saving that bit for a later post. (It didn't relate to this)
