headed to L&D final update in comments

I've been at the doctor all morning on the monitor. having regular contractions, cervix is soft, fingertip dilated. officially in PTL so headed to L&D to hopefully stop it. please send whatever good vibes you have to spare

update: well I'm here and the contractions are regular but not as intense as this morning. baby is really active, he keeps fighting the contractions. just got my first dose if terbutaline and it's making me really shaky and nauseous- two more doses to go. doctor is really optimistic we can stop it since there's been little progress. thank you so much for all the thoughts, prayers, and good vibes. you ladies are the best. will update again later.

update 2: contractions have slowed and are more irregular but haven't stopped completely so it's an overnight stay for me. but at least I'm allowed to eat now! there's a Mcdonalds in the cafeteria so I'm treating myself to a Big Mac. I'm really excited about it. thanks for all the well wishes!
