Hello ladies. I feel like a post a "talk me off the ledge" post about once a week. Well here is this week's dilema. So I had my blood drawn for the MaterniT21 test last Tuesday. I feel like this is such a nerve wracking wait I am going thru. While everyone around me seems to be more excited about the gender, DH and I are more excited to know if we have a good chance of getting what we have been praying for most (a healthy baby). I feel like these results are never going to come, my RE said that the results should take about a week, so I know I am just at a week but gosh I am driving myself crazy. The other thing is when I go to the website for the test it gives a list of reasons why a doc would recommend this test:
* Advanced Maternal age (not me)
* Personal family history of chromosomal abnormalities (not me)
* Fetal ultrasound abnormality suggestive of chromosomal abnormalities (not that has been mentioned to me)
* Abnormal serum screening test (I don't think I have been screened for this)
So here are my thoughts... How long did it take for any of you to get your results? Is it possible for me to have qualified due to one of the issues above and my RE not tell me? I am beginning to worry... any other thoughts about this test would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks ladies!

I was anxious too, I totally understand the emotions around it. I wouldn't worry too much about the reasons why he sent it off to be done though, they are general and he just has to "check a box" in order to get the test run. The lab won't run it without him checking that box. Period.
It took me I think 5 business days. And I called sequenom customer service to ask if they had the results yet and was shocked when they said my doctor had the. All I had to do was call the doctor that day and ask for the results, and I got them. Fingers crossed everything looks good!

TTC since July 2011
BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.
Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
Not yet!! I called and left a message for the nurse about 8:30cst. It has been an hour and I am still waiting. I am driving my self crazy!
On another note - how are the results provided to me? Are they in ratio form? or a positive/negative result?

I'm not sure on the results, I wasn't able to do the test bc they said the twins could mask each other. Boo. I am wishing you lots of luck though!

Test results (after first RE visit 6/21/11): 7DPO b/w: Progesterone = 11.3; CD3 b/w: FSH = 10.1 mUnits/mL, E2= 52.0 pg/mL, AFC: 6; SIS Ultrasound: Uterus great, tubes clear! AMH: 0.3
IUI#1 June 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN
IUI#2 July 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN
IUI#3 August 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): CP (Beta #1: 4.61, Beta #2: 1.0)
IUI#4 October 2012 (Follistim, ovulated before trigger, missed IUI, converted to TI): BFN
Jan. 2013 New RE
IVF #1 June 2013 MDL Protocol. Converted to IUI#4.1. (High E2 and 3+ mature follicles at first monitoring.) BFFN
IVF #1.2 August 2013 Stop Lupron Protocol with Human Growth Hormone added. 17R, 14M, 9F (with ICSI), 2 embryos (decent quality - grade 2) transferred on day 3, 2 blasts made it to freeze. Beta 8/26. BFFN
FET #1 December 2013 Last try! Transferred 2 blasts -- graded 3AB and 4BB. Beta #1 (12/27/13) 530. Beta #2 (12/30/13) 1876. BFP! One bean. EDD 9/3/2014!
