Vascular Placenta

Hi ladies! My doctor said my A/S showed a very vascular placenta and she's sending me to a high-risk doctor to look at it a little more closely. She said it doesn't necessarily mean anything. But she didn't say what it could mean or why they want a better look. Anyone have experience with this? I already have a message left with her to get more info because at the time I was just listening rather than remembering to ask questions. I did a search on this board but came up with pages of stuff that wasn't really what I was looking for so I thought I'd check. Thanks!
