Inspire me ladies... I have nothing planned for dinner tonight, not sure if I wanna go the take out route or try to make something from nothing when I get home. What are you having for dinner?
December 2014 November Siggy Challenge: How I Feel in Third Tri
Bacon & Asparagus Pasta - Sounded amazing when I pinned it but I decided this morning I am no longer eating bacon. I couldn't get enough a couple days ago but couldn't even take a bite this morning. I guess I'll have to eat around it.
Last night was tortellini. Tonight hubby is picking up things for turkey sandwiches. I am trying to keep my stomach full since that's the only way I can function.

So here's a fun question. I don't cook. Neither does my DH. When did you guys start cooking? I want to cook for my family especially as this LO gets older but as of right now frozen pizza, bagels, and cereal are my specialties.
May Siggy Challenge = Linda Belcher!! Hands down, my favorite TV mom!

I used to be horrible at it, but I started finding easy recipes with pictures of how it's supposed to look. The Pioneer Woman is one who has great step by step pictures. Now I use an app to store my recipes and plan meals from there. Hubby is one of those people who can just throw random things together and make it taste good. I have to follow a recipe exactly.

I don't like to cook (love to bake though). DH used to cook for us and it was great but I started cooking when it got pg with X about 5 years ago. I was always hungry so I started cooking here and there. Once X was born it transitioned to me cooking most meals. Now I cook every meal except 1-2/month. I still don't like it but it has to be done. I use Pinterest for all my recipes.
We are having a lasagne I made and froze a couple of months ago. I have zero desire to cook right now so thank god I had some freezer meals pre- made. I'm going to make a few more when I'm in the mood so I can get away with doing nothing in the evenings.

My friend, who's staying with us for a few days, is making a casserole. One one hand, I'm very excited to not have to cook (I've been having to force myself to cook every day since she's been here since I generally love to cook and she doesn't know I'm pregnant), but on the other hand, I'm worried it'll be something I have an aversion to and I'll have to force myself to eat it.
I'm amazed how long I've managed to hide my pregnancy from her. Here's hoping I don't throw up in the next two days, or my secret is out.
Nov 17 BMB May Siggy Challenge: Mother's Day Fails
I made breakfast; eggs, sausage and toast, for my husband (his request) and my daughter had some veggies and applesauce. He went to the gym and she went to bed and I had popcorn and a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone…..pathetic!
@chelseamari to reflect what the other girls are saying, plan your week ahead of time, then you can buy on sale, and you can buy meats/chicken and freeze it too. My mom always taught me to stretch meals out with veggies and starches and make several meals out of the meat
I love to cook but find that what I buy on the weekend isn't always what I want during the week. I'm going to try to buy basics, and run to the store/out based on my cravings.
Pizza turned into Vietnamese...basil noodle tofu and veggie spring rolls w peanut sauce! Yumm, in my mouth you go!
