Scary story to hear on my commute to work this morning!!

I know that it's unlikely and she probably just waited too long to head to the hospital, but still a little creepy for a FTM to hear!

  • Honestly don't see the creepiness - mom and baby are doing great!

  • This is why I'm glad I live 10 minutes away from the hospital!

  • I agree @sisterjanet...  For me what is worrisome is the uncertainty of when to do what.  I'm hoping that when the moment comes, instinct will tell me and DH what to do!
  • DD came really fast, once I started to dilate.

The hospital is 1.5 hours away... here's hoping I don't have to give birth on the side of the road!

  • I'm glad everything turned out ok and everyone is fine. Definitely a good reminder to listen to our own bodies and instincts and that the doctor is human too.
  • Maybe I'm strange, but having my baby in my own car is creepy!!  : )  Not trying to debate the hospital/non-hospital birth issue.  Just thinking about trying to give birth in my little car on my commute into/out of work is not the most pleasant thought. It's more the uncertainty and afraid that I would be alone that freaks me out!
