Biophysical profile: how long does it take?

I have a biophysical profile next week and am trying to figure out when to tell work I will be back.
How long does it take?

Depends on how cooperative your babies are. Mine took anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour.

Give yourself an hour. They can be quite the time suck.

If I remember correctly, they give each baby up to 30 minutes to look for the factors they are looking for. That means it could be up to an hour. If your kiddos cooperate, it could be as little as 10-15 minutes. Give yourself the hour + travel and office wait time. That way you won't be stressing out. It's a good time to watch those wonderful little things moving around (or in my case, my daughter deciding it was nap time and taking her 30 minutes!) good luck!

All of mine were pretty quick but my babies were very cooperative. They like having their picture taken apparently.

Mine were little stinkers so most of the scans were an hour +. And I ended up having to come back a few times to finish the scan.

Mine didn't take that long which was surprising since they never cooperated any other time especially for NSTs. I'd say the u/s can be up to an hour to that plus wait times and travel.

I'm having triplets and they said to expect to be there around two hours.
