DS had his surgery today to fix his bladder exstrophy with epispadias. He's in the PICU and will be there for 1-2 weeks. He'll have the cast for a month.
There's more tubes and wires on him than when he was first born. And he's on a vent for 24-72 hours, so I can't hold him yet. He didn't even need that at birth so I don't know what to do with myself.
...I'm just freaking out. This hospital thing is harder the second time around. I got so used to having him home, and now we have to do this all over again.
