So... I'm 35 hubby 34, been TTC for over a year and half.  Today starts my 6th cycle of 100mg clomid.  I wanted to try it with the "mucinex" that i hear so much about, to help with CM (cause the clomid seems to dry up my CM) sorry TMI.  anyways... i wanted to know what part of my cycle should i start taking it and how many a day or how much a day, and when do i stop taking it?  sorry for all the questions, just been a hard year for us as i am sure it has been for everyone TTC.  so any advice would be so appreciated .  and any success stories as well. PLEASE give me so hope.   also, is there anything else i should take?

My best advice is not to take anything extra while on medicated cycles that is not cleared by your doctor.  Since this is your 6th clomid cycle (and last as Clomid has a 6x lifetime max) I would hope that you have had all your tesitng done Day 3, HSG, SA etc...and that you are being properly monitored.  I hope at this point you are seeing an RE not an OBGYN I would assume you are seeing an OBGYN because Most RE's won't even bother with clomid after 3 cycles. .I know how frustrating TTC  can be- I hope this is your cycle.

I totally agree with pp...that said I take prenatal, b complex, vitamin c, folic acid(high dose),co q 10, zinc...all okay by two different dr's.....good luck , I know it's a hard road:(
