Did anyone lose some after they stopped bf'ing? I really hope I'm in that group that loses a little after and my body is just holding on to it...if not FML.
Looks like this will be my bikini of choice this year...
Yep. I'm stuck where I am bc of food and wine and whatever DS doesnt eat. I need to stop thinking the last few chicken nuggets DS doesnt finish will be sad and lost if I don't eat them!!
I gained more than I should have when I was pregnant, so...the leftover weight is probably what I shouldn't have gained and therefore it can't really be blamed COMPLETELY on the baby...especially not 2.5 years later.
Last pregnancy I didn't really track how overboard I went with eating all the things, and I drank sugary drinks like lemonade in an attempt to avoid diet soda or too much caffeine ....plus I didn't walk or exercise or drink enough water.
The goal this time is to not do any of that. I learned my lesson (I think).

Ugh, yeah, me too. I lost 20, of the 40 pounds I gained, right away and I've been holding onto those extra 20 for 2 years. I'm still BFing, and nothing I've done seems to work. I got to an IDGAF stage, but now, despite not adding pounds, I'm looking less good these days, so I'm giving the whole working out thing another go.
In addition to the weight, my body is just not the same shape as it once was. My belly is like an overstretched rubber band so unless I am consciously engaging my core I can still look pregnant. It is lovely.
I also keep reading all these articles that say that not getting enough sleep contributes to weight gain. This would be a great theory to test if I didn't live with two tiny insomniacs.
@SpaceGirlSpiff I feel the same way!! I gained 85 with my first and feelvlike the last 30 that are hanging on almost 2 years later is the extra weight I shouldn't have gained
I gained 55 lbs with my DD and I've lost all but 20 of it. Oh, and the "baby weight" is from my baby who is 4. I try and watch what I eat and exercise. Easier said than done, I know..
Ugh, I have gained about 10lbs a year for the last 3 years. I feel disgusting, but I don't know how to turn it around. It's all "in my head". Emotional, self esteem, self worth etc, but I can't seem to break the cycle.
