HELP!!Tubes tied, but I've started producing colostrum!

My daughter is 10mnths 2wks, I had my tubes tied the day she was born. I was trying to BF her but she couldn't handle it. So my milk dried up months ago. Today I was doing a self exam, & suddenly a little colostrum came out just like both of my pregnancies! I know it's possible to get prego after tubal but it's a slim chance. Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't experienced that, but I did experience something leaking out of my breasts when I was younger (and most definitely not pregnant) that today now that I know what it is I would say looked like colostrum.  They had to do several different checks to make sure everything was ok (it was)  Are you sure it's colostrum?  I'd POAS to confirm the slim chance isn't happening and then be talking to a doctor about this.

Yes, it's milky/clear. I've had 2 kids now and am positive what I'm seeing. I'm only 2days late. Gonna wait a few more days, then do a test. I'm just so scared to have an tubal pregnancy. Didn't know if anyone else has experienced before.

Thanks MandJ S! It could all be in my head too, because i wanted a third child but my hubby was not so crazy on the idea, which is what lead to a tubal ligation in the first place, since i was having a c-section. I guess we will test in a few days and see what we get. Hoping that no matter what, it's all OK!

This happened to me many months after weening and drying up from BF my son, and I was not pregnant... cleared up eventually.  It can happen

If you have a feeling you could be pregnant though definitely test ASAP -- getting pregnant after a tubal can be dangerous from what I've heard as it could be ectopic

Your description sounds exactly like the discharge I had before I had even had my first period.  Just because it looks the same doesn't mean it is colostrum nor does it mean you are pregnant.  Take a test, if it is positive it may be related, if it is neg well then it is not.

I agree with PP's. Take a test. If you aren't pregnant, this is likely still a benign issue, but this can also be indicative of a serious health problem so see your doctor. Cover your bases - better to be safe than sorry!
