So my baby girl is a little over a week old,I was just in the shower gingerally washing my lady parts because of my c section incision. When I went around the backside with soap I felt a bubble like protrusion coming from my crack area, is this hemorrhoids? It doesn't hurt at all so I am not sure....

Re: hemorrhoids?

  • Yup. You've got yourself a hemorrhoid! Same here- no pain but it's protruding. Lovely isn't it!? I haven't found a solution though I've tried anusol and prescription proctosedyl. Ask your dr. I imagine it will go away on its own though.

  • Using preparation h helps. And I know you can't take a bath, but I found when I get hemorrhoids that are protruding sitting in a warm bath helps shrink them. I'm sorry, hemorrhoids are the devil.

  • Join the 'roid rage party! I've got one that comes and goes as it pleases. Doesn't normally hurt, but it's' there. It usually retreats after a few days of keeping the area clean after going to the toilet and applying witch hazel.

  • Yup, that's a hemmie! Welcome to the club :) If it does start bothering you, Tucks pads and warm baths are helpful.

  • I just had one lanced at the dr and let me tell you that pain was so bad!! I couldn't sit, walk, cough, laugh or move in general. The dr said I will need to go in for surgery after this lo is born :-/
  • I've had one for years and it doesn't bother me a bit. But sounds like you joined the club :) they really aren't a big deal once you're used to them :)
  • Yup. I've got two of them and they only hurt when my poop is rock hard. Bleeding ass is no fun! But if my poops are normal it doesn't hurt. I actually had them before I was pregnant but I don't know why they won't go away. I suppose if it doesn't hurt I don't care.

  • Got mine from a 1st trimester poop. It hurt the first few days and now it just chills there to fuck with me. Doc says it could go away after delivery when pressure eases up. I'm praying.

I've had one for a few weeks now after a bad case of food poisoning that had me wretching over the toilet for 9 hours straight :(
  • I had a rely bad case and the doc prescribed a anesthetic gel (after trying the more common options). It worked for me. I will have to go for surgery after this LO I think.

You should maybe do a Google image search, just to make sure...

    ;) :-&

I actually can't see it, c section incision makes me feel super un ready to contort myself in the mirror. Andplusalso I am sure that would be a scary result from Google.
