Help please

So Benjamin's foot keeps getting stuck in his crib! Multiple times a week this happens. His foot gets stuck in between the wooden rails. It is so upsetting to him and to me. I always feel terrible! And it takes me some time to work his foot out of there. I don't know if he's trying to climb or what. But it pisses me off that our $600 crib is a problem. Anyone else have this happen?? If I get bumpers I don't see that helping because he will still get stuck when he just puts his foot on too. Ugh. Any suggestions are certainly welcome

No experience, but why not try those mesh bumpers? He prob couldn't climb on them as well as the normal ones.

I had those a long time ago and I don't see how they'd keep him from getting stuck. They will give, as soon as he steps on it. So frustrating

I can't think of a great fix for the crib. I agree that the mesh bumper will just give as soon as he tries to step on it.

The only thing I can think of is maybe its time to transition to a toddler bed?

DD puts her feet through them almost every day as well.  Thankfully her feet don't get caught.  We have bumpers so that probably wouldn't help you much.  Have you thought about transitioning to a toddler bed?

They sell these bumpers that wrap around the entire slat (one for each slat) in BBB. I think they are called wonder bumpers or something like that. It may narrow up the space between each enough that he can't get his foot in and bc they go top to bottom can't climb either.

I can't link bc I'm on mobile but I just looked them up. Pricey but might be worth it.
