My water broke this morning. I'm 29 weeks 4 days. In labor and delivery waiting to see if magnesium will stop the contractions I have had. Must had steroid shot to mature baby Remi's lungs.
I could deliver today or tomorrow or next week .. Depends if contractions stop. I'm only dilated to a 1 -- which is good.
Not prepared for a premi :(
This is all so overwhelming and scary and confusing -- especially since I went to term with my boys -- one was even 10 days late!!
Prayers for a strong little girl would much appreciated.


**Update**
I am still pregnant -- thankfully. I got both doses of steroids in for her lung development and they stopped the magnesium today. So now we just wait and see. I could go into labor anytime .. Hoping to hold off for a while, but it's out of my control.
The NICU docs came in today to tell us what to expect. He said it's good for baby girl that she's closer to 30 weeks than 29 weeks .. But she will still be little and have a long NICU stay ahead of her.
Please continue to pray for a strong little "ass-kicker".
