I cried because...

So I started these threads on my last BMB board, and they were always really fun to read for two reasons.  One... because we can laugh at all of the bat shit irrational hormone induced reasons each other cried, and two... because now you know you're not alone.

So anyways, I cried because my aunts dog has pneumonia.  Yes.  My aunt… has a dog… her and that dog live 2000 miles away from me, and the pooch has pneumonia.  I cried for like 2 hours after she told me.

I also cried because I watched "Double Jeopardy" last night, and when Ashley Judd is in prison, she misses her sons 8th birthday her celly's brought her a birthday cake for her son.  I was blubbery mess.

This made me feel a million times better after tearing up during a high school student's thesis presentation that I was supposed to be judging. As someone notorious for never crying I'm kind of excited to see what else my hormones will make me do since this is my first pregnancy. Cheers, fellow crazies!

Normally I sleep like a rock so I never remember my dreams. Pregnancy is changing that and this morning I woke up and started crying because I had a bad dream.....oh hormones I do not like you!!

OMG, I cried over the Pharrel and Oprah video. She was showing him how his "Happy" song has influenced people in countries all over the world. He teared up and I was blubbering.

Cried during sex the other night for no reason, cried while watching Saving Mr. Banks today, but I would have cried at that anyway. I find myself holding back tears at the dumbest things.

Oh man, today was a rough day and there were quite a few tears. I cried because my toddler wouldn't listen, I cried because I burnt sausage on the grill, I cried because DH was frustrated that I am confrontational tonight. Ugh, I can't wait to go to bed!

I love these threads though, always good for a laugh and support at the same time!

I cried on the way to the grocery store because the country song "Waiting on a Woman" came on.  Usually it just makes me smile, but by the time I got to the grocery store my eyes were all red.

Last night I was at a bridal shower. The grooms mother, who I'd never met before, was telling a few of us the story of how she net her husband 42 years ago. I started to cry and she says well you dont need to get all emotional.
So embarrassed. Also no one there knows I'm prego.

We are at the drive in tonight watching Rio 2 and yup, tears. I usually get teary during sappy parts in movies but this was full on cry. DH just gave me a look. Don't judge me!!

I broke a plate last night.  And I farted at work today and it smelled bad. I was mortified.

I cried because my DH called to tell me his grandmother would be staying with us for a few days and I have to keep her entertained.

DH still makes fun of me because last pregnancy I cried when I couldn't find the spaghetti sauce. I REALLY wanted spaghetti!

I cried yesterday because I missed a deadline at work. I have never missed one, but this was out of my control and I just sat there like a blubbering idiot.

In my first pregnancy I used to have nightmares that T-Rex, zombies etc we're eating my baby as I scratched my skin during sleep! In the end a johnsons baby bedtime bath every night was only thing that would stop the freaky dreams!!!

I cried last night watching a youth theater performance of Annie. These kids were 3rd-6th grade and did so well I was so impressed but trust me this was not a broadway performance by any means.

I cried last night because the hubs and I were headed to date night and I wanted to go to PF Changs. We found out the wait was over an hour and we would miss our movie so we had to go somewhere else. I was literally inconsolable and when the new restaurant didn't send out the appetizer I almost lost it. The hangry rage has been the worst for me. When meetings run over into lunch time at my job, I secretly fantasize about killing whomever is holding it up so I can eat.

I had a meltdown in the parking lot of Whole Foods. My husband hates going there & I made him go. He wasn't even complaining but I felt badly about making him go. Then this AM I realized that I'll have a less than desirable belly (when it grows) because I foolishly got a belly ring 17 years ago. Still actually pretty upset about that one, but at work so trying not to cry.

A song came on the radio that made me think of my dad. He's alive and healthy and we have a great relationship. I just started crying, for no reason.

I cried watching Revenge when Jack's dog dies and I also cried at the Pharell Williams Oprah video. The weirdest one so far though was on my way to work one morning I was stuck in traffic for an Ironman competition and one of the competitors was apparently a mother of three; the father had one baby strapped to his front and two small children at his feet and they were all holding signs that said "Ironmom". Apparently I really felt the love from their signs also!

I cried because DD and fur babies werent listening and behaving all morning or afternoon. I also just got over some tear leakage because DH is eating Taco Bell (which he never does) and it smells fracking awful to me right now. How dare he! ;-)

ChelseaMari, Yes!! My husband walked in and asked, "Are you seriously watching that?" and I said, "Uh, it's only a classic!" It was sad, wasn't it? That little alien just warms my heart. Edited because I don't know how to work the quotes and kinda fudged up a bit...

I cried at the end of the day when one of my students leaped into her Dad's arms at dismissal and bear hugged him. I had to run back into the school.

I cried yesterday morning because it seemed like frequently when DH and I discuss the pregnancy, particularly related to telling other people, he says things like "when we feel more confident about it" or "when we know everything's good" and it made me think about what if something is wrong or what if we lose the baby.  I got so sad and started bawling.  He felt really bad - that definitely wasn't his intent.  This is our first child and we've never been pregnant before, and he's just so cautious about telling people so early.  He said he won't use phrases like that when talking to me anymore and that he was so sorry he upset me.  

I think I also cried because I felt nauseous.  And cried because I burned my taco shells.  I cry SO easily now.

Here's another one. I cried when I clogged the toilet this morning. Totally started crying and stomping my feet when it wouldn't flush. H didn't say a word and went for the plunger.

I cried when I saw a German Shepherd therapy dog.  It was just so sweet that it's whole life is devoted to this one person to help them get through their life safely.  Plus I really like German Shepherds.
