I've been lurking for the past week and wanted to share an introduction.
I am a 36-year-old work-at-home mom with a 15-month-old. I teach composition and literature for online universities, and I'm able to do most of my work during his nap times and after bed time. I also have a babysitter on Mondays. We live in Northern California. DH travels a lot for work, but luckily DS is a pretty chill toddler so it's not a big deal.
You may also see me in TTGP, TTC Over 35, January 2013 Moms, and Toddlers 12-24 Months boards. Ladies on The Bump have been a great support as a first time mom who lives away from family. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Welcome to the board! I started out on TTC after 35 as well, it helped me through a very difficult time. I live far away from family as well so it's nice to have a place to come vent, seek advice, or just chat with other moms who understand.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
