Contractions & cramping

sharp contractions this morning at 4am and now cramping all day. Lots of movement, lower back aches. Feels like I'm about to start my period or similar to the first day of a menstrual cycle (which is always my most painful) Anyone else experiencing this? I'm 34 weeks tomorrow.

What's the point of being rude when I have a genuine concern? You're on a baby site, show a little compassion or just don't comment at all. Anyone should be able to post questions or concerns on the board without being a daily reader or commenter.

For the kind people who responded, I called the dr on call and they thought I may be dehydrated. I drank a lot of water and just tried to relax. Woke up feeling much better and no contractions so far! Hope everyone else is hanging in there!

No, just no. If you want compassion, give compassion. You may not be very familiar with this board and how it works. Most of the women here have gotten to know each other and have supported each other throughout their entire pregnancies. When someone who doesn't typically post or join in on threads decides to post "look at me, look at me" topics and doesn't come back, then these responses happen. Don't expect what you don't give.
You don't know me and I don't know you, so it really doesn't matter whether or not you read this but because I'm not cold hearted...I'm glad you called your doctor and you are ok.

You've only participated in this community a handful of times since you've joined. How dare you come in here and DEMAND shit when you obviously don't give a shit about anyone here.

I'm so sorry you had dehydration cramps. Maybe if you ever popped in you'd see these are common and we even have a "drink your water" thread (you know, since we know and care about each other like that). You'd also see what a royal douche you are for coming in here randomly and demanding compassion. You know who gets my compassion? The women I've come to know and respect the women who have suffered losses, the women who have had preemies, the women having a bad day and just need a little love.

Not the drive bys.

@Chantill0623‌, I know you said you'd delete the app and therefore will probably never read this. However,...

If you had read- really read and comprehended- the comments, you would understand that we were offering compassion, but we needed to know you first.

It's like this: I see homeless people (sometimes in really nice clothes) on the street in the city I live. I get so annoyed just looking at them because I feel like they need to wake up and start doing something (like get a job) rather than begging. I have zero compassion for them.

But! When I go to the homeless camps with this church group and give them food, I talk with them; learn about them; and have come to love several of them. They are often in my prayers and always in my heart even though I only see them once every few months.

We're not telling you to go away. We're screaming "Stranger Danger!"
Take a moment to let us know you and the screaming will stop.

My doctor always tells me first to drink a lot of water and lay on my left side for an hour. If they go away then I am fine if they get stronger or don't go away call her.

@Chantill0623, peanut butter gives me heartburn. I love pickles though...

I haven't had any cravings throughout this pregnancy. I'm a little jealous. It doesn't give me any cool stories when Claire is older. 

My mom craved strawberries with me and chocolate milkshakes with fries with my sister. I love hearing about when my mom was pregnant with us! I hope I get to share stories with Claire and let her know how she was as stubborn as a May bull and a fighter, just like her amazing grandmother.

Also, cool intro! You said earlier you were 34 weeks? Excited? You're almost done! Did you have your baby shower yet? Mine aren't until the end of May, if we are still having them.

Edit: sorry for the long message. I'm really interested in other's pregnancy stories since mine has been so boring with no morning sickness/cravings/etc. Wouldn't remember I'm pregnant if Claire didn't move so much. lol

Sorry Ladies, I only get my phone 1 hour a day. And I say "u" because it was faster. I hope no one is mad at me about it. My sister always tells me to spell everything correctly.

Today I cleaned up the mess really good so I get the computer too. This is such a interesting forum. So much information.  Its so great that we all share the same love which is babies and being a mommy.
