We didn't do a video but we would have needed an entire film crew if we had. Lol.

I had a lot of fun telling everyone this time around.

* We didn't announce until Christmas Day to the ILs and Boxing Day to my family. (I was 28 weeks at the time)

Love it! Family can be so uncooperative when you're trying to share news . I was just with DS at a NT scan when I found out we were having twins and called DH to meet for lunch to "show him the ultrasound pics". I get there and handed them to him and he doesn't look at all. We order food, he's chatting away and I finally just told him to look at the pics. He flips through them, smiling and nodding, while I'm just ready to burst. Finally he looks at me and says he doesn't really know what he's looking at. I point to the A and the B on the first pic and explain they're labeled because there are two of them. After shocked silence and disbelief he says, We need a new car! Lol.

We just got my dad a onsie and he opened it. When he did my mom nearly made her burger she was eating go all over the room! I wish i would have video'd it!!!

We sent my H's family mugs thay said "grandpa and grandma"!

When I found out I was pregnant with my first we went to he 2nd hand store and bought the ugliest turtle neck we could find. We wrapped it up and gave it to my mom (my mother is only in her 40s and is a very stylish desser) she was so confused until my husband said "we thought you should start dressing like a grandma" she started screaming as did my sisters.

When we found out baby #1 was actually twins we just showed everyone the ultrasound pictures and watched their reactions when they realized that there were 2 babies in the picture.

When we found out I was pregnant with DS it was the week before we went in vacation with my entire family. My dads birthday was that week so we gave him his birthday card and wrapped up a fishing lure (it was a cottage trip on a fishing lake) the card was signed "love your grandchildren: K, O and baby # 3 arriving march 2014. But he didn't read the names just the saying in the card so we told him to rads it more carefully and when he did he started crying and hugged me then without a word passed the card to my mom who started screaming and jumping up and down. They then passed it to my siblings without a word it was so cool seeing all their reactions.

We told everyone at 4th of July after my FiL had made a little speech about how great it was to have everyone together... No one had a clue (which means I did a great job fake drinking. Water in bud light bottles and white grape juice in a wine bottle that I set on the ac vent in my closet to keep cold)

With out angel pregnancy we told our parents over Hanukkah when we had DS1 open up a "big brother" t-shirt. Then with this pregnancy we had our parents look at "cute pictures" of DS1 on out phones and as they scrolled through there was a picture of the positive pregnancy test.

Here is the picture we posted on FB, I was 17.5 weeks and still unsure about announcing. We actually found out the following week that I needed the rescue cerclage.

Our close friends and family knew we were going through IVF and we also did an interview for a local news station when I was 6 weeks so we had to announce pretty early. We posted a photo on Instagram and FB announcing that our cycle worked on my birthday, which is the day I heard Harper's heartbeat for the first time.

@aenordan‌ I LOVE it!!!

We gave everyone a special book...the grandparents got The Grandma book and The Grandpa book by Todd Parr and others. We wrote something like "keep this book to read to us. Expected arrival in March" When MIL opened the book she got all excited and we told her to read it and she said I know what this means and I said no open and read it and then she caught the "us" part and freaked! My mom opened hers and looked at, looked at me, looked at again and asked if we were telling her something!
My MIL and FIL brought their books to the NICU and read them to the twins...it was heartwarming!

We hung the US pic in our gallery collage on our living room wall and just waited for my mom to notice. Took her like 40 mins, then she freaked

We facetimed my dad, and gave my MIL a photo album of the pic.

We made a sign and then I had it posted on her bedroom door my whole pregnancy. I was going to put it in her baby book so I had taken it down and put it on a shelf. Well it fell off the shelf and my dog ate it. He loves paper...my poor daughter will probably one day have to tell her teacher that her dog really did eat her hw.

We moved when I was 10 weeks so invited all the family over for a housewarming around 13 weeks. DS was napping when they arrived. We brought him downstairs wearing the shirt in the picture, and waited. There was a lot of happy tears and shouting when DH's grandma noticed the shirt!

@Jenstwins‌ I love that shirt! It's adorable and giraffes are DS1's favorite animal so it would have been very fitting in our house .

We put this sign around DD's neck and Skyped my parents and then my sister. It took my mom a second to read it and figure it out. My sister got it instantly. Both cried, but my dad said, "wow." I don't think he thought we were serious about trying for another so soon.

Then we had DD walk into my IL's house wearing it. They are more slow...and just thought she got a new shirt. When it finally hit them, MIL immediately (jokingly) called me a liar. About a month prior, I had some funny symptoms and she asked me if I was pregnant. I told her the truth - no! I wasn't about ready to tell her that we DTD the night before to try to get pregnant. It just so happens that was the beginning of DS! I told her I truly wasn't pregnant when she asked. Being so slow, she couldn't understand how. I just left it.

At 13 weeks, we posted this picture on Facebook!!

I remember that! @Wisconsincheese12 - we waited until 20 weeks for anyone else and swore the family to secrecy!
