QOTW: What do you do to keep yourself from going crazy while TTCAL?  Ugh. The bump, my husband, distraction, pinterest

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I want to be pregnant already. It's getting hard seeing others get their BFPs..it's to the point now that some I knew when I first came already gave birth to their rainbows. It's hard for me...because...I'm still here.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  Ovulated prior to my first PP AF but no success... AF started today. We have had the "all clear" to conceive since I stopped bleeding PP and hope to get our rainbow baby in the upcoming months.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?  Just had my 6 week PP visit with the MD other than that nothing else.

QOTW: What do you do to keep yourself from going crazy while TTCAL?  I need to pick up a hobby.. because at this point I am really driving myself and my hubby nuts!!  I bought a really nice DSLR camera and would like to learn how to take really nice pictures... I also got a sewing machine for Christmas so that is something new to learn as well.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I go back to work tomorrow so I am nervous, excited and worried all at the same time. My co-workers are awesome but just being around people and knowing I have to talk about Christopher all day is going to be hard. On the flip side, I know it will allow me to get back to a sense of structure and "normalcy" which will be nice and keep my crazy with TTC in check.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  Cycle 2 CD2

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? Going in for day three bloodwork tomorrow.  My luteal phase was only 7 days, and I started spotting at 2DPO.  My luteal phase was short before, which is why I was given Clomid and progesterone, so looks like we may go the medicated route again.  I would like to my doctor about Femara this time though since I have endometriosis and I hear that it might be better for me.

QOTW: What do you do to keep yourself from going crazy while TTCAL?  Honestly, I don't think anything really works to distract me, I just pretend to not be too crazy.

What is on your mind this week?  Sad that my period came.  If I had gotten pregnant last cycle, I would have been due on Q's birthday, and I thought that would have been a very cool sign.  I didn't expect to get pregnant the first cycle, but with the dates lining up like they did, I really thought it was possible.

QOTW:  I run which gets some of it out.  Pretty much I just stay crazy.  I need to calm down more.

Open Topic:  I went to a support group on Saturday and it was really, really good.  I met a lot of really great women that I hope to continue to grow and heal with.  I am so ready to be out of a bitter place right now and to be calm and positive.  It's hard but it is just time.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? so nervous for my appt. I'm nervous she'll want me to go on BC. I never have and I just hate the idea of knowing I'm prolonging it for a couple months!

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  stilllllll waiting, my last beta came back 6.54 and then another vial was sent off to the hcg lab in New Mexico...still waiting on that one to come back for their results.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?  Depends on what UofNM says about my hcg, if its still positive I'll have another beta I guess and if negative I should be able to have my hysteroscopy next week.

QOTW: What do you do to keep yourself from going crazy while TTCAL? I've started reading again... I read Maze Runner, Divergent and Insurgence within a week. I'm on Allegiant but kinda came to a stand still because I've discovered the show "Orange is the New Black"...hilarious

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?   Baby showers...I've gotten two invites recently and while I really don't feel like I'm mentally able to go, they're both really good friends and I'm feeling guilty about not going

@kflynn81 I get it about baby showers. Don't feel guilty about not going. You're needs, mental health come first. If your friends can't understand that..well, their not very good friends. I had a close friend have a baby 1 year and 4 days after I had Ana. I couldn't do the shower, so I sent a gift to her house (My Mom actually picked out the gift because I couldn't do that either)

I totally get the baby shower thing.  I got an invite this weekend, and the mom to be actually emailed me to let me know that she understands if I can't make it.  I told her I appreciated the invite, but probably won't make it.

Thanks for the positive thoughts about going back to work this week. I think the most nerve wracking part was the anticipation of actually going. Everyone has been very sweet and since everyone knows what has happened no one is pressuring me to talk about things unless I want to.

@kflynn81 I agree with what the other ladies have said. We make a baby in our body, we carry it for months dreaming about the future, we fall instantly in love... and then we lose our hopes and dreams when we don't have the baby we have dreamed of. No one is going to judge you or think you are a bad person/friend if you are not able to join b/c of how you feel and what you have been going through. If they do then shame on them....

In all honesty I probably shouldn't even feel bad about not going to the second one because she never even told me she was pregnant.... I saw a comment on a mutual friend's Facebook page....from her husband. I was like, "Oh, guess she's pregnant" then came the shower invite. Nice.

I didn't even hesitate to decline a baby shower invite recently - she was a good friend and understood. I sent a card with a check because I couldn't bring myself to buy a gift or even a giftcard from BRU - buying the card was a stab in itself - xo
