"Goodbye" present for DC teachers?

DS2 is changing rooms, going from older toddlers to preschool (which means $325 a month back in my pocket, HOOORAY!!!!!!). I gave each of his three teachers a card and $40 at Christmas. Should I be giving them each a gift again? DS1 changed rooms in February and I did not give an additional gift to his old teachers, since I had literally just given them a Christmas gift (both kids just started at this daycare in Sept). I feel like it's been longer since Christmas now so wondering if I should give something now at room change.

  • I would probably give them a small something, it can be joint gift with teacher appreciation day.

  • Agree with PP. Can you give them a box of candy or some other treat to all share - you know, something they can keep in their lunch area?

  • I would give something. A nice card to each teacher and a food item is probably good.

  • Yeah I would personally esp w/ teacher appreciation week coming up. I pretty much always do gift cards & sometimes something small w/ it.
