New to The Bump

*peeks in* Hi... Newbie here.

I have been a huge lurker for the last few months, I can't really decide where I fit in.  Even though my doctor describes my situation as "infertility", I feel like I haven't had enough experience to hang in the Secondary IF board.  I have a 3-year old daughter, so I don't feel like I "belong" in the TTTC board, either.  I don't want to offend anyone who is trying for their first baby.

Just hoping to join in some conversations and discuss everything with internet strangers, because apparently, I have a hard time doing so with those around me in real life.  A few of my closest relatives struggled with IF and were never able to have children, so I don't want to burden them with MY struggles, as well.

Just a little about me:  29-years old in Michigan, married for five years.  We have a DD and a (huge) dog.  I work part-time.  Love wine and gardening.

...and I hope my signature works.  :-/

Re: *peeks in* Hi... Newbie here.

  • Everyone started as a newbie on the boards, even the Secondary IF board. Definitely introduce yourself. You may find people there with very similar experiences who can relate to your situation.

IMO, at least sharing your story with your relatives may actually make you closer, since you're sharing similar experiences (unless you don't want to hang with these particular relatives). My mom was a great source of support during my m/c's because she had 2 as well.

    Welcome to the boards.
