Thanks for posting @tippytoes06, hope you're having a great time with your brother!

I've had my most exciting week since getting my BFP!  I feel like I was waiting for bad news throughout first tri so the initial excitement faded quickly.  But I had my 12 week appt on Tues and got another US and the baby actually looked like a baby!  With arms and legs, doing somersaults and flipping and waving and kicking, it was awesome.  All previous US's the baby was still and kinda just looked like a peanut.  It feels more real, and I'm finally feeling excited and happy again.  I also told a friend at work, up until now H & I haven't told anyone and we're still planning to wait until 14+ weeks to tell family and friends.  But this work friend knew about IF and our loss, and I felt like I had to tell someone after the US.  She was really happy and excited and it was fun to be able to finally share :-)  

Hope that everyone else is doing well this week.

QOTW- bread, but it would have to be fresh bread so actually I don't know if that would work!

My edd is 12/3/14 and I'm expecting twins. I'm 8w2d currently and am super nauseous. I have a ds who is 2 1/2 and can't wait for him to be a big brother.

Nothing new and exciting for me this week.  I have my next ultrasound on Tuesday.  Can't wait.  Hope everyone has a great weekend! 

QOTW:  hmmmmm . . . chips and queso would be my pick.  I think I can eat that all day, every day and never get tired of it.  Of course, it wouldn't be the healthiest way to survive, but it would be yummy!

I have been feeling pretty good which of course makes me nervous.  I have my first US on the 1st, and I am soooo worried about it.  I have never had an ultrasound go well, so I feel like I'll be on the verge of tears the entire time like a lunatic.
QOTD: I think it would have to be chips and guacamole for me!

@tippytoes06 - yay for your surprise!  I hope you are having fun with your brother.

I had a bleeding scare last Saturday morning and came in to my RE for a check.  Everything was OK.  Things were rolling around fine this week, until literally just 30 minutes ago had another bleeding scare.  My RE said to give it an hour and if it doesn't stop (like last time), then let him know.  I have 3 sacs (one viable baby), so the bleeding could be related to the other two sacs.  I'm just scared to death. DH just wants to go in to get checked, but our first OB appt is Wednesday, and I want to make it there. I guess we will make that decision in the next hour or so.  Anyone else have bleeding issues?

QOTW: I love the chips and queso idea.  Although there is a really good pizza place here in town and I could also do that.  Very healthy for sure.  Hah!

Hi ladies- first check in here. My EDD is 12/2 but I have two beans so I'm sure they'll come in November at some point...

So, rough week over here. Caught a stomach bug from my sister/kids and ended up being hospitalized for dehydration as I couldn't stop vomiting and diarrhea. Not fun!!! I think I got like 6 bags of fluids. I finally feel slightly human today (this started on Sunday morning)....

I have another u/s on Monday which will be 8w5d.

@Praying4Miracle17‌ I really hope your bleeding turns out to be no big deal. Scary! Good luck!!

We are 13w 2d with twins. I keep looking at that number and wondering how we actually got to the end of the first trimester!! This is our last checkin on 1st tri. Wow. I will look forward to connecting with you all again on 2nd tri over the next few months.

No new news here. Our last RE appointment was our NT scan last week. We have our next ultrasound a week from Monday and then our midwife appointment the following day. We have been spoiled by regular all-included appointments with the RE. For the midwife, we will do ultrasounds at a generic ultrasound clinic and the they will send the results to our midwife. I'm worried about being really anxious between the ultrasound and the midwife appointment.

QOTW: I don't know! Panang curry; chicken fingers; Cheetos; Chicago style thin crust pizza. I could go in many different directions!

I am 9 weeks, 3 days and had a major crazy pregnant lady freak-out and was convinced one of the twins wasn't ok.  Luckily my doctor is awesome and got me in for an ultrasound today. The babies are fine, both heartbeats were 176 and they are measuring on track.  I feel so much better and can hopefully hold off now until the 12 week ultrasound.

@Mrs.McIrish - hope you recover quickly!

AFM: We had our first OB appointment yesterday @11w6d. Squirt gave me a panic attack bc they couldn't find a hb with a doppler, but Squirt showed up right away on the abdominal u/s with a hb of 153 and was being VERY wiggly. no wonder he/she was evading the doppler! Next appointment isn't until June 2nd. Seems SOOOOO long. 

Our gestational carrier is telling her daughters (ages 7 and 10) this weekend. I think we are going to tell my family next weekend. Why am I so nervous??? Will PAIF/PGAL ever get better? Ugh.

@Praying4Miracle17 - I am so sorry you're going through all these bleeding scares. I hope everything turns out ok. Keep us posted!

AFM: Another good US this week at 8w3d. They're measuring right on target and have really fast heartbeats (the US tech joked with DH, asking if he was ready for two girls -- although we both know the fast heartbeat determining gender is just an old wive's tale, he looked a little worried). 

I'm kind of in a gray area between RE and OB right now. Since my OB's office was doing my US for my RE (since he's not local), I've been going to them since my BFP. This week was my last RE-ordered visit and his office said it's all good, halved my dose of PIO for another 2 weeks then I'm off. So, I'm taking that as I'm officially "released." 

OB's office, however, wants weekly USs for the first trimester, so I still get to see the babies grow (yay!). I still haven't actually met with the OB, so I guess I need to figure out when I'm supposed to do that. And what I'm supposed to ask him. "So, I'm pregnant. Now what?" (That should be a book title). 

QOTW: Right now, it depends on the minute. Yesterday, I would've told you clam chowder and cheetos. A few days ago, it would've been grilled cheese sandwiches. Ha. I'd have to say OVERALL, though, (cravings aside) it would be pizza. I can pretty much eat pizza any time or place and be happy.

Congrats to those moving on. T&P to those who need them. My only news is that my due date moved up to November 16th which bothers me a little because I know when I ovulated and they won't listen oh well I have bigger things to worry about! I had to out myself at work today to everybody. I had to trade patients with somebody and so everybody figured it out. I guess at eleven weeks with twins it was bound to come out sooner rather than later! Food that I couldn't live without...cheesecake. I would just sit around my island and eat cheesecake. Sounds fabulous!

I've been feeling much better these last two weeks, but still have a touch of morning sickness here and there.  It's actually kind of comforting to feel uncomfortable and have some sign that things are still progressing. 

I have my next check up with my MW in two weeks which will be nice to see how things are going. We had an ultrasound appointment at my last appointment and got to see 1 little bean moving around.  Can't wait until the 20 week one - it seems so far away!

I haven't formally intro'd because I feel like i'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Currently 9w3d with one bean after a march FET. Due 11/28.

I have zero symptoms so I haven't allowed myself to believe in this pregnancy. I was released by RE two weeks ago and my first prenatal appointment with the midwife is this wed! I hope to stick around, and I hope all you ladies will have me.

I am now 12 weeks 2 days. I went to the dr friday for blood work and exam. Nothing exciting, just that my uterus is measuring 15 weeks and to come back in a month! I am so exhausted already, its scary!

QOTD: Pizza, definitely pizza. I just can't get enough!

AFM: 12w5d and nothing new to report. No more weekly monitoring now that I'm at the Ob. Morning sickness comes in bouts now, I'll have a great/good day and then suffer with 2 or 3 horrible days. I'm hoping this is how my body decides to 'taper' from morning sickness.

QOTW: Agree with everyone else, pizza would be my go to dish.

Hi ladies!  Congrats to those moving on to 2nd tri & T&P for those who need them.  I am exactly 13 weeks today!  Had my last RE appointment on 4/21 & will have my first appointment with my OB tomorrow.  It's still hard to believe this is actually happening.  I feel like I have just been waiting for something bad to happen for the last few months & now that I'm nearing the end of my 1st tri, I just want to shout the news to everyone I see!

QOTW: I would have to have my gummy bears & hopefully a cooler to keep them in because I like them refrigerated!

Update:  I'm 9w3d today.  I have my first OB appointment tomorrow, which includes an u/s.  We're excited to see how much LO has grown in the 2 weeks since our last u/s.  The past couple of days my nausea hasn't been as bad, still there, but better.  Of course, that makes me nervous even though I should enjoy it!

QOTW:  Everything bagels with veggie cream cheese.  Yum!!

Hi ladies- I'm 8Ws and feeling good.  No nausea, but lots of fatigue.  Graduated to my obgyn (I got a new one because just moved) and I really like him.  It's just a rotation of him and one other doctor, so I like that- no meat market.  He cleared me to begin light workouts again and I can't wait.  I bought some mat clothes (I've only gained 1 pound since IVF began), but I feel really bloated and just want to be comfy.  Loving LOFT's new lou+grey line- super cute and lots of stretchy clothes!  Finally, they asked us if we want to do some of the prenatal testing (nuchal transparency) and my DH is all for it, so I'm going to do it, but I'm not sold that it's a must.

Question:  I'd bring chicken fingers- lots of protein and goodness (and somehow I can never get enough!!!)

Can I join?  I am feeling optimistic after BETA #2 of 1384.  Ultrasound is 5/14.  I transferred one, so let's say 1 bean.  According to the IVF due date calculator, 1-5-14 is the date.  Will I have a New Year's baby?  I can't believe I am posting here!

I am 12 wks today! I feel great, I have had no nausea or vomiting, feeling pretty good. I am still just waiting for it all to feel real. I am jealous of all you ladies getting u/s. My OB made it sound like I wouldn't get one until 20wks because I had the 2 with the RE. I am not a super big fan of my OB and considering the idea of going over to a nurse midwifery clinic a friend referred me to. She said they are great about listening to their patients and I am not a big fan so far of the doc I have.

@Orange1414 I thought my DH must be the only person alive with that kind of addiciton to movie theatre popcorn! I will have to tell him he is not the only one.

QOTW: I almost said ice cream to be different, but for life sustaining purposes pizza is probably a wiser option, and it is delicious!

hi, Can I be added to check in? I'm 10 weeks 2 days. Feeling great, tiredness is getting less & hardly any nausea to speak of these pregnancy. This is my 2nd IVF pregnancy (first with RISCI, 2nd with ISCI), 2nd time around has been SO much easier both emotionally and physically. Having my AMA blood work done this weekend. Won't be finding out the sex though. Husband wants to but I LOVE that there is at least this one part of our journey where we can make a choice not to have medical intervention in finding out the sex. QOTD: that would have the be chocolate

@deardra77 Oh, yes Sacramento!  Go Kaiser! Yay for us being sucess stories. Did you mention that he doesn't give results until second beta? How agonizing!

@viasatalyte yup but I just called the lab directly as I didn't want to be made wait & I wanted to find out on my terms when I was in a suitable place to hear. I was driving when I found out I had a total fertilization failure with my first IVF, no ideal!!! Had a rescue ISCI which only works 7% of the time from what I was told, transferred 3 embyros due to the very low potential any would take, 2 implanted, lost the twin & my little boy is 13 months & I'm 10 weeks pregnant. Started cycling again so soon cause I am pushing 37, never expected to get pregnant on the first try this time.

@deardra I am 37 too and this will be my first.  Never too late, right?  Very nice that It worked the first time around.  Your babies are fighters!
