How many weeks were you/will you be at your shower?

Mine is June 1 and I'll be 33 weeks...I wanted it in May but there were way too many conflicts with my brother getting married!

Mine is June 29th and I'll be 38 weeks!!! I really wanted it earlier too but my mom and sister both live out of the country and can't be here until then because of work. It means so much to me that they are a part of it so I am trying to relax and know that if nothing else, whatever we don't have by then, we can shop for together, which will be a nice bonding experience for us, since I haven't been with them for the whole time.

Try to relax, and enjoy, let them pamper you and just sit back and be surrounded by people who care about you.

That said, if you are really not happy with having it that late, and there is a possibility of moving it (that is, there's no real reason it HAS to be that date) then it's perfectly reasonable for you to express your wishes and the host should respect that and do whatever they can to make you comfortable and happy.

I'm due July 20 and my showers are June 1 and June 28. The one on the 28th is an hour and half away so that makes me a little nervous. I'm just trying not to rock the boat and dealing with it. We probably won't wait for that shower to get 'big things' though. I just can't handle waiting that long to finalize stuff as I like everything planned and organized. Maybe this baby will teach me to go with the flow more!

With DS 34 week. Mom is insisting on a family one this time--I threw my hands up and am just going with the flow despite my shower disdain in general. This will be at 36 weeks. Oh gosh, it just got me how late that is given I had DS at 37ish weeks

I'll be 29 weeks and 31 weeks. Thankfully not too close to the end when I'm afraid I'll be huge & uncomfortable.

ETA: I just found out that DH's office is also throwing one for us, probably at week 36.

My shower is July 7th i'm due july 24/25 i will be 37 weeks it makes me really nervous having it that late in case i go early we have nothing ready i want to have things organized/ready. but my BFF who is co-hosting it with my mom wont be back home till june 30/july1 at the latest and it wouldn't be the same without her their so fingers crossed i'm ok for it lol.

Mine is May 1. I will be 1 day shy of 29 weeks. I am worried about it being a little too early, but May and June are so busy. Also, my doc said we may plan on having her early due to my BP and some meds I am taking. So far I have a stroller, a bumbo, a moby, and approx. 10 outfits. So I am really looking forward to my shower so I can start prepping for baby. Maybe it will seem real when I get some stuff for her.

The wives from my husband's battalion are giving me a shower at 32 weeks, and my friends are giving me one at 36. Everyone kind of balked at the 36 week shower, but it was my choice. I'm a teacher and school will be out by then, so I'll feel like I can go home and organize everything with more than a day's turn around time to get back to work!

May 4th. I'll be 31 w. I also was concerned about it being too early/too late. But read somewhere that 2months prior to your due date is a good time period. However, I think that whenever you have it, as long as you are surrounded by friends and family it's a special time. I can't believe how quickly time is flying by! I'm trying to enjoy every moment.

My shower will be the day after I hit 29 weeks. I'm already on modified bed rest to keep my twins baking.

No Baby Shower for us. We are hosting a "Sip and See" when little one is about three weeks old.

I had a shower with my first at 34 weeks. Oliver was premature and I missed the shower. My DH had to go open presents and since everyone was at the shower, I was alone at the hospital. I will never have another shower again and I'm sad that I missed that experience. I say a good time is around 30 weeks but, you can't plan for everything.

May 3rd, I'll be 29 weeks. We are flying from Oregon to New Jersey so I wanted it to be earlier due to the long flight.

36 weeks and not worried at all. My friends just adopted a newborn. It all moved so quickly all they had was a crib and a lawn chair.

Mine is May 3rd and I will be 29 weeks and 3 days. It was the only Saturday we could get the church in May. I felt too nervous waiting until June to have it because I want to get everything organized.

One with my husbands family is June 7 (36 weeks!) which is a bit nerve wracking for me, but SIL refused any earlier even though both her girls came 4 weeks early.

One on my family's side will be end of August due to my aunty superstitions. So about 6-8 weeks post baby, hopefully I'll be feeling alright by then.

My coworkers are throwing on May 21st to beat the end of the school year - I'll be 30 weeks at that one. Then we're having one at church June 14, so 33 weeks!

I have one may 25th (34 weeks) and one June 6th (36 weeks) both make me nervous of the lateness but nice for them to throw them none the less

Mine is June 21st and I'll be almost 36 weeks. My two best friends are planning it and one of them is a teacher out of state and couldn't make it here until then. I don't have any concerns about baby coming that early because my brother and I were both late babies, but I'm sure I'll be pretty huge!
