Extension with Prudential STD

Hi there-
I was wondering if anyone has had luck applying for an extension with prudential disability. I know they only cover 6 weeks even with a c section. I'd like to get an additional 2 weeks. Anyone do this?

No, but when I asked Prudential about it, I was told I would need documentation from my doctor if I needed the extra two weeks, and then they would honor it. I didn't have complications, though, so I didn't bother to ask my doctor because I was pretty sure she would say it was unnecessary.
