Diaper Rash from Changing Sizes?

Recently we upped sizes in our regular diaper brand, Pampers Swaddlers. We went from size 1 to size 2 and now all of the sudden my baby has a new diaper rash around his penis. Is this unusual? We've been using the swaddlers and pampers sensitive wipes since he's been born. I wonder if I'll need to switch to another diaper brand. What do you think? Is this unusual?

Did anything else change?  No new foods?  Are you sure you got the Swaddlers, and not the Dry Max or Cruisers?
