Morning sickess again if I fall back to sleep, anyone else?

I'm really struggling with morning sickness, i'm 28 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and i've had sickness since week 9. I've been on anti sickness medication since before Christmas, i've spoken to someone at the hospital on Wednesday and i'm waiting to hear back from them about upping my medication or trying a new one.

My question is, does anyone get it twice if they fall back to sleep?

I will wake up with morning sickness and i'm vomiting around 8 - 10 times consecutively, if I fall back to sleep, I wake up and i'm sick again.

This morning I woke up starving, which makes me sick, so I had some toast and went back to sleep, 2 hours later I was in the bathroom bringing it all back up again, I could barely breathe. I so wanted to go back and sleep it off as I felt awful afterwards but I couldn't risk round 2.

Is this a common thing?
