Transfer is Sunday day 5

Today is day 3 and

I did a day 3 transfer, and ideally your embryos should have 8 cells on day 3.  We have this very long detailed book with pictures all about the lab from our clinic with frequently asked questions.

One of my embryos on day 3 was 6 cells at 7am when they took the picture, but had 8 cells by time of transfer around 11am.

I think this is good :)

You should also ask about the grade, they usually grade them in addition to number of cells.  How much fragmentation they have.  We only had 2 embryos period, they were both grade B.  A is the best, but B is still very good.

A lot of places don't grade them until they reach blast, but it can't hurt to ask.

I see.  Ours were probably graded because it was our transfer day.  We couldn't risk going to 5 days and be left with nothing......
