Our high tech monitoring system we get hooked up to every 4 hours for 1 hour. It has everything including wireless and waterproof monitors.
The couch that flips over into a twin bed for slumber parties.
My mound of pillows and stash of goodies.
Oh and my "vaulted" ceilings. With built in vag spot lights for delivery. I just need to switch to the delivery bed when ready and its go time. Mine is more comfy for now. Maybe I'll sneak some of the rest of the ward later.
You need some photos from home to brighten up your space. It's a nice outside view to people watch. Are you allowed to sit by the window? Or a chair?

These are the Disney onesies my mom has decorated my room with the last few days! All the nurses, doctors and housekeepers just love them. I can't wait to play dress up.

Just got snacks delivered from SO!! I'm excited. I would be a royal bitch if I had GD. Thank God for that!!

Doing better today. Finally got these people whipped into shape on my food service.

We are shooting for 37 weeks. That means May 15 th for me. Original due date was June 5 th.
How are your rest results?
We will do more labs tomorrow to check liver and kidneys. We get daily bio physical ultrasounds. 8/8 everyday so far. However her fluid levels change. It will be 7 then 10 then 7 then 10 today. I think it depends if the lady is patient enough. My bean is really low. With her feet stretched out into my right ribs.
We also get 4 times a day NST for 1 hour. Hooked up right now. She makes me laugh as she is so active. Rolls off the monitor. Kicks and rolls back right as the nurse comes to move the monitor.
Anything exciting?
I ordered her baptism gown. Going to have her baptized right away due to health risks. Then we will go to our church and do her dedication when we get to go home. It will give me peace of mind.
Can you hear other ladies labor?
I'm on the high risk side but they are really busy and once your in your room you stay so sometimes I think I hear one. Well one time I heard a lady cry out. However she had a "baby loss" dragonfly on her door I saw earlier so not sure what the case was.

And yes, on track for 5/13 pending my body behaves!! Let's hope so!
1. How are we doing?
2. New due date is May 13th. 12 days.
3. Test results: The past few days all tests and lab work have been stable and good. I feel very lucky.
4. As a shower present my mom hired Merry Maids to deep clean my house tomorrow. All the dogs are boarding until I come home, or longer, so it will be so very clean when I come home. Ohhh and my husband brought me delicious Lebanese food for lunch and dinner, diabetic friendly and so tasty.
5. Labor and delivery is a separate unit so I can't hear anything.
I have grand plans to watch one of my best friend's weddings via Skype/face time and enjoy the gossipy texts from my from my friends.
Other than that, watch a few movies, read my book about Preemies and start Dead Giveaway; the autobiography about the man who saved the three woman in Cleveland (my home town).
What's your new due date?
Baby fluid was lower today. Normally she is 7 one day then 10 the next. She has been 7 for two days now. I'm going to drink drink like its my job and see tomorrow what it is. If its low again we will check labs and that may mean we go earlier. Will keep u posted though.
So today I got news that Bean has low fluid. Still passed her bio with 8/8 cuz there was at least 1 pocket of 2 cm fluid. I've had days where it's 7,10,7,10 now it's 7,7,7. He said we will check tomorrow, nothing new we get them daily and if its low again we recheck my labs as it snowballs fast. Trying to avoid HELLP. When liver and kidneys get involved. If its fine tomorrow then check labs Monday.
He said it may just be time!!! No no not yet. I know some of you ladies are praying for 34 weeks and I'm at 35 already so please don't take things wrong but we all know what those week marks do to us!!! We do a happy dance. Tell every staff member to will listen.... " we made it another week"
Also my MIL is out of town. Not that it matters but this is the first grandchild that she is actually excited about. She has 7 already. I've worked hard to make sure she feels included. She almost didn't go. She has never been on an air plane or a vacation in her life. Went to SIL in California.
Anyways that's what's new for me today. Had visitors and more planned for tomorrow. Didn't sleep well last night. Just straight up insomnia. First time since being here so I think that's good considering.
Also my SD had her performance. I cried the whole time.... Ok looks like I'm not quite ready to talk that one out as I tear up. Plus my BP has been high since she left 155/105 so I'm trying to chill. Came down a bit to 154/97.
Anyways I hope you ladies were so busy with visitors and having a great day that we didn't hear much.
Also on a sappy note. I'm so glad to have you ladies in my life. I truly feel blessed. However you should hear me try to describe to people my Bump Buddies!! SO gets it now my mom does too but I talk about you ladies like your in the next room. I can pretend right!!
